About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child living on a farm- dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, fish, and even plants! I have a deep sense of care for animals and living things, and will nurture and attend to your loved ones’ needs while you are away. I have a one year old chocolate Lab named George who gets along great with other dogs and is polite and respectful with cats. He comes with me on overnight stays and walks, but can stay in my truck for drop-in visits if you prefer. I can take your dog on long walks or visit dog parks during the day and give them plenty of playtime and attention. Available for drop in feeding visits, walks, or overnight stays. I am available to drop by or stay overnight in client’s homes. I have a pickup with a canopy to transport your dogs to the dog park, and have access to a private beach. Comfortable with large breeds, leash training and working with behavioral issues. Let me know what your pets need and I will be happy to accommodate.

About: I have experience with adult dogs and puppies. I will follow your instructions with absolute certainty and can assure you I will make sure they are loved and cared for as if they were my own. I am very responsible and if a home visit is needed, your home will be locked and secured the moment i leave and if the puppy or elder dogs make a mess i am happy and willing to clean it up to make your day easier when you return. If it is just walking services you are looking for, i will make sure we take a walk worth it to the dog or puppy so they get the proper exercise needed. I have a career where i get 3-4 days off at a time. I would love to help you ease some of the stress by taking care of your animals. It gives me a chance to enjoy them and help you as well. I will follow whatever instructions given to me and can be reached at all times a day if needed. I will also update you with photos or information if you ask. I can also assure you that i am very cautious about my surroundings and will do my best to make sure your pet is safe and cared for properly.

About: My love for animals started when I was a little girl. Animals have always been my go to for happiness comfort and love. Meeting new animals always brings me joy. I understand the trust and responsibility that comes with taking care of someone's fur babies. I'm an open book I'm currently going to school online so I have a completely flexible schedule and can't wait for this new venture in my life I prefer not to care for animals in my own home. I have an older relative that's very particular about his house and doesn't allow pets

I’ve worked with all kinds of personalities, reactive dogs, shy or nervous pups, and super energetic dogs, and I always take the time to meet them where they’re at! I’m very patient and pay close attention to body language and behavior, which helps me build trust, especially with dogs who need a little extra reassurance or structure! I stick closely to routines, make sure dogs get the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation, and keep things calm and positive! What really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care! I treat every pet like they’re my own and want both pets and their owners to feel comfortable and confident! I also make sure to send regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for! I work part-time, so pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I’m mostly available on Fridays and weekends, which means I have plenty of time to give pets my full attention without feeling rushed! I always put pets’ safety and comfort first. On dog walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, pay close attention to my surroundings, and go at a pace that’s comfortable for each dog. I’m careful around other dogs, traffic, and anything that might stress them out! For drop-in visits, I make sure pets feel relaxed and happy in their own home. I follow your instructions for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or medications, and I keep routines consistent so pets feel safe and comfortable. I also send updates and photos so you know your furry friends are doing well! I treat every home and pet like they’re my own, and I make sure both feel respected and cared for!
