About: My name is Alexis and I will be your pet's new best friend! I have cared for many animals in my life. I grew up on a small farm caring for chickens, cows, cats, small birds, and dogs. I've had dogs all my life as my constant companions. I've cared for friends' and family's animals while they were away. Including dogs ranging from chihuahuas to great danes and from puppies to the elderly. I've also been caring for animals professionally for about 6 years now. I've cared for hobby farms (pigs, chickens, guineas, emus, turkeys, geese, ducks, goats), dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and small birds. I'm always willing to take on a new experience. I will provide individual quality care to each pup and will willingly help with any extra pup related requests (Baths, brushing, and medications). I am also always available by phone if you would like to ask any questions about me or how I will help take care of your precious pet. I know that each animal is an important member of the family, and assure that I will take the best of care of your best friend. Rover does not offer rates for animals outside of cats and dogs but if you reach out I'll be happy to offer you a quote for any animal. If you have multiple animals, we can discuss their care and I'll be happy to over a quote. I'm a college student so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. Perfect for all your dog's needs! I always open and honest about my schedule and will never cancel last minute. My goal is to keep your pet happy and maintain their routine. I'll always have my eyes on your dog whether it's at home, on a walk, or at a dog park. I also strive to keep your home how you left it though if you need a few chores done I don't mind helping out.
About: I have plenty of free time to walk and play with your dogs and cats and keeping both you and them happy. My schedules are super flexible and I can housesit your pets whenever when you’re off to work. I can also bathe them if they have been playing in the backyard, rolling in the dirt, and gets too stinky. I do have two cats, the black one is named Happy and the orange one is named Teo. They are super sweet and I’m pretty sure our pets will get along super well! I will have a dance party with your little best friends. Oh fun fact about me is that I used to be the chaplain of FFA in high school, so I know a thing or two about animals. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
