“My dogs love Lynn and her precious pups. They always have a great time! I am never worried when my dogs are boarding with Lynn. She takes wonderful care of them and treats them like family (spoils them with treats)!”

“I highly recommend Leslie. While I was out of town, she sent me pictures of Kobi. She reassured me that he was being taken care of. She sent a video of Kobi playing with the family. I will certainly use her again.”
“Tiffany was amazing! She was very communicative and sent pictures and updates. We really love that we found someone that we were confident in knowing our Maxine was in great hands! Thanks Tiffany! We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Melissa and Shaun were awesome! I’m very glad I found them so last minute and were able to take all four of my pups. They had a good layout with the kennels for boarding, in the shade and about 2-3 different dogs runs. I have a mix of large and very small pups and she was able to attend to them appropriately with the little ones separate and closely with her. Thank you again! Hope to book again soon!”

“Kena took such good care of Winston the first time, I felt very comfortable leaving him with her overnight. Like before, she texted updates and photos. I appreciate how considerate Kena is and the quality of care she provides for my little guy.”

“Thank you to Tara. Our dog Murphy was well taken care of during his time at Tara’s house. He was treated like a member of her family. We would definitely use Tara’s services again if we need to leave Murphy behind when we go away on a trip.”

“Danielle picked up my pup from my home and whisked him off to doggy Paradise where he played all day and made many friends! She brought him home a happy and very tired pooch! I will definitely hire her again!”

“Jessica and Tim were awesome fur baby sitters! They sent us many photos of Lally through the week, and she looked like she fit right in with them! They were great with communication, and we felt very trusting of them with our smallest family member. Thank you guys!”

“Olivia was super flexible and communicative. We needed to do a pretty early drop off and it was no issue. We got lots of great pictures throughout her stay. Our dog is coming home much happier than if she had stayed at a boarding place.”

“Jenna is the best!!! She is so kind and was loving up on my dog as soon as she met her. She sent frequent updates and gave my pup lots of snuggles. They went on so many adventures and she sent the best pictures ? I felt very at ease while I was away knowing Jenna was taking care of my baby.”

“I was so nervous about leaving my dog with a “stanger” but he did great with Destiny. She sent us pictures every day and treated him like a member of her family. I will definitely use her again if we are in need of a pet sitter.”

“So glad Poulette and Jennifer could accommodate our dogs who are reactive but did very well staying with them. We got updates and appreciated the great communication. Dogs were happy with the outdoor time too!”

“Tristi did an amazing job! She was communicative, attentive, and made sure all the pups were safe, comfortable, and happy. It's clear she genuinely cares about dogs, and that gave me so much peace of mind. Her family was wonderful too! I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again.”

“Tyler did a great job watching my two big dogs. He was always available for updates throughout my trip and his knowledge of dogs was evident throughout our interactions. I felt relaxed knowing my dogs were in good hands with Tyler. They came home happy and healthy. Would definitely recommend Tyler to anyone.”

About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be. I would make sure to have water and treats on me as well as monitor how tired your dog may be
“Holly took care of my very nervous 14 year old dog Abbie for 10 days. I received multiple photos and videos updates throughout the time. Holly patiently worked with Abbie, helping her to get over her fears. I now say my Abbie has two mommies! I recommend Holly without reservation. Your dog will be well taken care of while you are away.”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
