About: I have been in the pet industry for 15+ years including veterinary, retail and boarding. I also did house and pet sitting for a good friend of mine many times. I have worked in the petcare industry for more that 15 years. Most of it as a retail manager. I've done veterinary and boarding jobs also. I'm ready to basically become my own boss and do what I really love. I am still a part-time retail worker and full-time homemaker but would love to include your pets in my everyday activities! I have fur babies and scale babies of my own. This includes 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 tree frogs, 2 leopard geckos, 1 hamster and multiple fish. They are not only my hobby but part of my family. My dog and cats are allowed on furniture so they can cuddle with us.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I have my EMT-b certification and am working currently as an RBT, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. Safety and trust are very important to me and if desired I can frequently send you pictures/videos of your pets throughout the day! 🫶

About: My love of pet care began at age 14 when I got my 1st job working with a vet. I bicycled each morning at 6 am before school to clean cages. My love and determination has not waned over the years and I have continued, off and on, to work with vets and offer in home pet care to a diverse group of clients from birds to wolfhounds for the last 30+ years.. I am looking forward to meeting your fur family and discussing how I might provide the best care for your loved ones in your absence. As a fellow user of this service, I understand the desire for an experienced, trust worthy, capable, level headed care giver with a degree of common sense. My aim is to provide the same level of care that I would expect my family to receive as well. Your sense of confidence in my abilities to care for your family is my #1 priority. I bi-locate between Greensboro and Danville and am available in both locations and between. I look forward to speaking with you! At the moment, in home pet care is my first priority and upon approval, I can be available 7 days per week as well as on an extended basis, upon review and acceptance by both parties for in your home pet care and walking duties as well as drop-in visits. I have found most pets prefer to be in their own homes and around familiar sights and sounds to ease their transition from their primary caregiver to me. For this reason, I highly recommend in home pet care. I am willing to discuss pet care in my home on a case by case basis.

“Jessica has been a wonderful caretaker & companion to our sweet, old dogs. I would definitely recommend her to my family, friends, & co-workers for their pet care needs. Jessica was so nice to meet us prior to booking her services & sent pictures of her visit, as well as bring our sweet boys a treat or two. Our dogs usually have terrible separation anxiety & stop eating, yet with Jessica's help they didn't miss a meal, a belly rub, a treat, or a walk. Thank you so much Jessica for taking such good care of our furry family members! We appreciate you.”

About: I’ve been around a lot of animals in my life and I have worked with dogs to a whole room of reptiles at a camp. I lived along side a parrot most my life and cats as well. I have been pet sitting for a lot of my life for friends, neighbors, and family! I pride myself on my love for animals and my ability to bond with them. I’m happy to do anything asked of me as well to make it easy for the pet owners and easier for the pets. I currently do not have a job because I left teaching to further pursue something I love which would be animals. Besides doing little trips here and there, I will be available most days, especially the mornings and evenings (so morning walks and evening walks for bed time). I can stay over night at houses as well. I am, of course, fine with weekends as well! I am working on making this my career as much as I can. I am trying not to have to go too far from home for dog walking but house sitting and pet sitting I’m fine to go farther especially when staying at the house there. It will cost more though. I am good with crating and good with most size animals. I work with all sizes. I love to interact and love on the animals instead of just going in, feeding and letting them out and that’s it. Unless for some reason your animal doesn’t want loving, I will do what they prefer. I also am always willing to brush your fluffy babies, I can help with that as well! I will only have myself and no other animal with me because I will not bring an animal to my home. I will like to meet and greet just to make sure I and the animal will get along okay.

About:

Siara N.
“Siara took great care of both of my greyhounds when I had to travel for work over a three year period. My doggies love her and had I not moved from the area she would still be my dog sitter today. She is reliable and trustworthy. Two very important qualities to me when I need someone there for my pups.”

Anna D.
“Anna took such great care of my dog while I was away. She followed all the instructions perfectly, made sure my pup was well-fed, exercised, and loved, and even took extra time to make sure he felt comfortable and calm. I came home to a happy, healthy dog and couldn’t be more grateful. You can tell she truly cares! Highly recommend!”

Isa A.Star Sitter

“Isa saved my butt doing a last minute walk when my other sitter just didn’t show up. She has always been very responsive and flexible. We appreciate her so much!”

Sophia M.
“As Sophia’s mother, I’ve seen firsthand just how devoted and caring she is when it comes to animals. Over the years, she’s brought home kittens to foster on more than one occasion—each time committing herself fully to their care for several months. She is very responsible and it’s clear that she truly enjoys spending time with them and making sure they feel safe and cared for. She’s patient, attentive, and truly loves every animal she meets. I can say with complete confidence that any pet in Sophia’s care will be safe, loved, and well looked after. I would trust her with any pet, and I know she’ll bring that same warmth and dedication to anyone who chooses her as a caregiver on Rover.”

christina y.
“Christina has watched my 3 dogs on several occasions, she always made sure they was well fed, cleaned up after and loved while we weren’t there. She’s super caring and loves all animals like they’re her own, she followed all directions we left perfectly and we came home to happy, clean, and safe little puppies. There is no one id rather recommend to intrust your fur babies to, she will 100% do everything she can for them and exceed your expectations.”
