Our 15 year old Australian Shepherd was well cared for during our two week vacation. We were out of the country and we could relax and enjoy our time away knowing that he was in good hands.

Brandy put the A in Amazing. She is truly phenomenal! She was very loving and communicative. Our fur baby enjoyed his stay and we definitely will choose Ms. Brandy whenever she is available.

Jen has a great place for a dog vacay. A big yard and other friends to play with. Like a 5 star spa for my little lonely friend. Jen works from home and so my dog hung out in her office while she worked. I felt good knowing our dog wasn't locked away at a kennel for days while we were enjoying ourselves.

You're always nervous leaving your little buddy with someone they don't know, especially an older dog when they have not really had that experience before. Madison and Brianna did a great job. Since Brianna is studying to be a vet tech, I felt confident and comfortable leaving my little dog with them.

We are beyond thankful for Suzanne and her son, Jackson! They were so welcoming when we first arrived! They went above and beyond in caring for our old pup (so much so that he didn't want to leave when we came to pick him up!) We will absolutely rebook in the future ❤️

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for all kinds of animals — from goats and pigs to dogs and cats! I’ve been around animals since I was a kid, so I understand their different personalities and needs. I’m patient, gentle, and always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and pets that need a little extra attention or care. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, giving medication, or helping with basic training, I make sure your pet gets the same love and consistency they’re used to at home. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 4 year old so I am available at any time of the day and any day or the week! When caring for pets, my main focus is making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable — whether they’re in my home or yours. I always take time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar as possible. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions carefully — from feeding schedules to walks and playtime. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, along with updates and photos to keep you at ease. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with lots of love, snuggles, and supervision. I treat every animal like part of the family and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for at all times.

Always satisfied with the care Gloria gives to my Raven! I never have to worry. She sends me pictures so I can see if my dog is alright.

Gloria takes care of Ollie like we do, he has stayed at Gloria’s house several times for 2+ weeks at a time while we traveled internationally. We are very comfortable being away when Ollie is with Gloria and her family. He loves Gloria and her family and we believe he thinks of their home as his “Home away from Home.” We very highly recommend you choose Gloria for your pet, if you want to be able to travel without worry, knowing they will be loved and cared for in the best way.

Gloria and her family are truly amazing. They have lovingly watched our Bichon Ollie in their home several times. We feel so comfortable leaving for extended periods of time knowing he will be well cared for and loved. Ollie loves them and considers their home his second home. Thank you Gloria your love for animals allows us to enjoy traveling in our retirement.

Savannah and her fur helpers took care of our two dogs really well. They seemed to enjoy their time and I think they will look forward to their next visit.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Greenwood home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Greenwood.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Greenwood sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
