“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars – Above and Beyond! Christine was an absolute gem! Our dog Jadis had been struggling with motivation and didn’t want to get up or go outside for our regular sitter—but with Christine? Total 180. She got up, played, and was clearly happy and comfortable in her care. Christine was super attentive, sent tons of thoughtful updates, and even snapped adorable photos of our cats even though they weren’t part of the job! That extra care meant the world to us while we were away. Reliable, caring, and clearly an animal whisperer—Christine is the kind of sitter you hope to find on Rover. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants peace of mind and happy pets while they’re gone!”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals! I had plenty as a kid and was always helping family members with them. I take pride in training puppies and young dogs, even though I’m not a professional trainer, I know a few tricks! Pet care is what I do full time, I’m always available and I feel like they can use all the attention and loves when their parents aren’t home! I have a daughter who enjoys being with the fur babies as much as I do! I make sure I am easy going and trusting when approaching a pup that has never met me. They’re just like us! I am a very loving and nurturing person, I plan to be someone your fur babies look forward to seeing!

About: I have a current access card for the base. I have lots of experience with all breeds of dogs from a young age. I was involved in a local 4-H program starting in grade school, and am a current Berner mama. Puppies are also not a problem! I am currently staying home with my kids, and working remotely online, so my schedule is quite open. I am available consistently throughout the week. I prioritize your pet's safety and comfort by ensuring a secure environment, following all care instructions, and keeping a watchful eye during visits. Your pet's happiness and well-being come first.

“Joey watched our dog Layla for the second time and we could tell she was happy to see him. He did all expected task and more. Our Layla has been picky about food lately so he made sure accommodated for her to complete her meals. We will continue to request Joey for Layla.”

“Danielle did an AMAZING JOB! We have a very large dog (Hera a mastif Rhodesian ridgback mix) who is slow to trust people. Hera can be very scary when anxious. Danielle watched Hera for a week. She did an fantastic job getting Hera to trust her. With in the first few days Hera went from anxious/barking/growling to trusting and calm. By far she is the best dogs sitter we have had in the Hopewell/Prince George area.”

About: I am a dedicated animal lover who is looking to spend more time with furry friends. I have lived with two dogs all my life until I moved out of my parents home. Now I have a very sweet cat to call my own! When I dog sit I work hard to keep the owners home in the best state possible while also spending as much time possible with their pets. I love dog walks and playing fetch or tug of war, whatever keeps your loved one happy and healthy. I offer my undivided attention to snuggle time with either cats or dogs. I’m used to large dogs but still have experience with smaller friends. I’m ready to give my all for your furry friend, thank you!

“Michael is heaven sent. My boy, Weitzman, is a senior special needs pup. He needs a great deal of care and attention and not just any sitter is willing to take on the extra attention and work that’s needed. Michael enthusiastically has bonded with Weitzman and is giving Weitzman the close attention and care he needs. As a result, I have peace of mind that my baby is doing well, is safe, and is being properly cared for. I highly recommend Michael. He wants to get to know what your fur baby’s needs are so he can take good care of them. Thank you Michael for looking after my boy!”

About: Hello! I have spent years providing love and care for my family pets as well as those of friends and neighbors. I know how special your pet is to you and I’m happy to help care for them however I can. Whether it’s checking in on a pet while you’re out of town or taking them for a stroll when you’re stuck at work, I’d love to step in any time you’re not available. My schedule is flexible and negotiable. I’m always careful and considerate when coming to your home and will be sure to follow any specific requests you have for your furry friend. I look forward to having the change to use my experience to care for your pet as though they’re my own!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. I promise to give all of the love and attention your animal needs. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please reach out to me. Thank you! I have a full-time job however, I can take breaks throughout the day to attend to your animal's needs (walks, potty breaks, food, etc.). I have full availability on the weekends. I have 2 cats who get along with other animals. They roam around the house and tend to do their own thing. Staying in client homes, I will only use items/rooms that I am told can be used. I ALWAYS clean up after myself and will do light housework if asked/needed.

About: I have had dogs in my home for the last 8+ years. I have had as many as 6 or 7 in my home at one time. I have also had experience with very young puppies. If your dog is not house trained that is not a problem — I am willing to work with them (I also have hardwood floors so cleanup is no issue) I’m currently working full time as a teacher, but am always home on the evenings and on the weekends.I I typically am able to come home at lunch time to check on my own fur babies and would definitely do the same for yours. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of room and two fur babies of my own that can keep your dog company. I treat every animal I come in contact as if they were my own. Being a high school teacher has equipped me with tons of patience; especially for throes fur friends that have a bit of anxiety.

“Thank you so much for taking care of Winnie at the last minute! Hannah took great care of my puppy and kept me updated daily. She responded quickly and made sure Winnie had her daily potty break! Thank you again! ?”

“Samantha did a great job caring for fur babies. She did everything we asked and the animals were happy and well cared for when we returned. She was prompt on her visits and gave great updates and the house was in order.”

From energetic puppies and curious kittens to senior pets needing extra care, I’ve gained hands on experience adapting to a wide range of personalities and needs. Whether it’s managing medication, keeping up with playtime, or offering quiet companionship, I’m dedicated to providing reliable and thoughtful care that helps pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. As a college student, my schedule varies throughout the year, and I sometimes travel in and out of town depending on the season. That said, I’m fully committed to pet care outside of my studies and offer a lot of flexibility to fit your pet’s needs. When I’m available, I prioritize consistent, reliable visits and make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve. I have two cats and two dogs of my own, all with different ages and personalities. One of my cats has a medical condition that I’ve cared for and medicated, which has taught me how to spot potential health issues and respond quickly. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs and maintain clear communication with owners so you can trust your pet is in capable, caring hands.

About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. So I won’t be able to lift more than 25lb max. I’m new to the area so this will help me to get out of my house and do something. I actually watch pets to get my fur baby fix and for a place to stay, specially when I travel. And im usually solo on my travels I will stay in your home to make things as stress free as possible for your fur babies. I will follow all your instructions and love them as my own

About: I have taken care of our family dogs since I was a child. Additionally I have volunteered at shelters before. I have two dogs at home and love to play, walk and spend time with them. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! I am currently working full-time so evenings and weekends would be best. I can let your pup out in the evening and visit your home multiple times during the weekend to provide care to your pet. I am very detailed oriented. I will ensure that when I leave your home is locked and secure. I will communicate with you and send pictures of your companion!

About: Hi, my name is Mackenzie, and I love being outside and seeing happy dogs on walks! I grew up with a dog that I loved dearly, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time inside and outside with him! Since his passing, I have gotten a little over a year of experience petsitting and dog-walking, and am looking to expand and help more families keep their fur babies happy! Whether that be by dropping by for a walk and some tummy rubs, or hanging out while you’re on vacation, I am ready and excited to help out! I’m a high energy person who loves playing with and caring for dogs; please contact me if you think I could be a good pet for your best friend! I have also become a big cat person in my personal life! I have cats of my own and I love them very much. They both have some minor medical conditions that require prescription feeding and monitoring, so I am used to sensitive kitties who need a little extra love. I would love to help care for cats in the area, so other cat people can travel and vacation and have time away from home knowing that their furbaby is well cared for and loved in their absence! I work from home and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule, so I am available throughout the day for feeding, walking, playing, and relaxing with your pets! I am very detail oriented and can ensure that the care your pet receives from me mimics the care they receive from you, to keep your furbaby comfortable and relaxed while you're away!
