About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. However, I also worked in rescue for 4 years for a non profit organization in Lexington and fostered hundreds of dogs which gave me experience with different personalities and an opportunity to learn animal behavior. I worked as a vet tech for less than a year several years ago, but have some knowledge obtained from that as well. I do require your dog to be crate trained, as I keep my own dogs in a crate for safety reasons when I leave the home. I have a degree in social work, but supervise a substance abuse program. With my job, I have 3-4 meetings lasting 1-3 hours each, weekly. Most of my work is done on my computer at home. Your pet would be in a crate for safety while I’m not at home (max 3-4 hour daily), as would my own dogs. I have a 3 year old medium female goldendoodle (26lbs), who is very submissive. Her name is Sophie. I also have a 4 year old standard male goldendoodle who loves to play, but listens well. They are both spayed and neutered. I have 2 cats, Jasper and Alice. My cats stay off to themselves for the most part, but my dogs enjoy visitors to play or cuddle with. I have a fenced yard for safety and your dog would be welcome on my lap at any time, just as my own. I take my dog to the dog park a couple times a week, but wouldn’t take yours unless you asked me to due to not being able to ensure safety not knowing the personalities of other dogs at the park. My pets are vaccinated annually, have flea, tick and heart worm preventative monthly. My husband works out of town through the week most weeks and I have a 16 year old daughter who is also an animal lover. However, I would be the only caretaker of your pet(s). Your dog would be welcome to lounge on the couch or in my bed with mine while watching tv, having down time, but is required to sleep in a crate because I can’t watch behaviors (including my own dogs) while I’m sleeping and want to keep everyone safe.

While taking two dogs on leashes to Vesuvius is probably a tall order, Central Bark or the Flatwoods dog park are no problem at all. There are so many rugs in this house that I don't care about that if your dog has an accident it is absolutely nothing to me. There is a 1/6 acre of about ten oak and maple trees directly next door for frolicking and my neighbor with her spayed female cat and fixed three year old Shepherd girl to walk over to. About: I’ve been taking care of puppies, cats, dogs large and small breeds since i was 12! My neighbors, friends and family have always relied on me to be there when needing a sitter! About: Since I was 12, I had a calling for pets! My dream job was to be a vet, but life had a different plan for me. I joined the Air Force and became a nurse. I now am a cat coordinator at Eglin Pet Welfare, where I have been able to expand my knowledge for animals and their well-being! Being in the military can be lonely at times being away from family. Asher, my 6 year old Great Pyrenees has been my rock through those times. We’ve expanded our pet family some more with Charlie my 6 month old Great Pyrenees mix and a few kitties along the way! Between my boyfriend and I your furry friend won’t spend more that 4-6 hours alone! My personal pets get morning feeding and play time before I head into work and then get and evening walk whenever I get home. I have a 6 Ft privacy fence and a very large backyard that your baby can enjoy! I personally have 3 fur babies that will keep your fur baby company! I have trained my own dogs a series of obedience commands and playful commands that allow them to enjoy their life to the fullest. My daily routine has always been to give my pet the attention and love they deserve. They always get their needs taken care of before I start my own routines. About: I have always had pets my entire life and I have watched them for family when they needed me to throughout my life with my mother. Recently I have started doing in home dog watching for relatives and will be watching a cat for my friend over Christmas, I would love to expand this skill I am available anytime you need a pet sitter and open to having you come early to see how your animal does in my home! About: Wen I woes a kid my parents bread sherpays. In my teens, I help on my dad's farm and mom with animal rescue's with the local humane society. About: I have volunteered at AARF for 4 years working with all size dogs and cats. I currently work for a veterinary clinic and have professional training in the care of animals as a vet tech. I currently work as a veterinarian technician and I take care of the boarding dogs that come in and out of the clinic along with the three dogs and four cats that I have at home. I am constantly around and taking care of animals. I do not offer any boarding in my home. About: I was born and raised in the country, my papaw gave me my first dog when I was 5 years old who I named Charlie and told me that I was responsible for taking care of him. That's when I learned the friendship, love, and compassion that pets can behold. He was the 1st of many pets that I had, he lived till I was 17 and will always have a special place in my heart. About: I’ve taken care of all of kinds of animals from the age of 13 until present time of the age of 28. I help my friend at her boarding business. I have fostered and rescued many animals.
