“Tara was great! We needed a last minute dog sitter for our 2 yorkies. We were nervous because we have never used rover before. Tara responded quickly and was even able to groom them. That saved us so much time! They had a great time! We will be using Tara again!”

3. John G.
“John is an extremely kind and compassionate person. He’s a hard worker and very trustworthy. John is young and athletic so he would do well with active pets. He would also do well giving love and care to older or less active pets. John completes tasks and is punctual. John would be wonderful taking care of any furbabies”

6. Julie L.
“So grateful to have found Julie! She was very communicative, sending photos and texts of how Leo was doing while we were away. It made me feel so relieved to know he was being so well cared for and having a great time while we had to leave him for the weekend. I can’t thank her enough for easing my worry of having to leave my pup and for doing such a great job giving him love & attention!”

About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. I am currently only taking one online college class so that does not interfere with my availability. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and a 9/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

About: I've been doing this for 17 years and I'm a professional. Friends around me often come to me to help take care of the dog and clean the dog... Dogs are my job and I am full time. I've been doing this for over a decade now and have been playing with dogs. I can welcome guests anytime. I am a professional, so I have a special place for the dog, I have enough time with the dog, I will clean and feed the dog according to the plan. I can easily crate your dog if needed…
