“Jessica was great! It was our first time using the site or getting a dog walker and she came to meet us and our dog earlier to put our mind at ease! She was super friendly and walked our dog right when we asked her to!”

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: With 3+ years of professional experience working with animals, as well as 26 years of being surrounded by hundreds of pets of my own, my goal is to create the best, most memorable time for your animal friends. I treat every animal as if it's one of my own. From dogs to cats, rodents to reptiles, ducks to goats, and from newborn to senior, sick or in good health, I have cared for and nurtured just about any domesticated animal throughout all stages of life and am here to make sure that, no matter what, each and every animal is as happy as can be, because they deserve it. Four years ago, I lost my dog, Sugar, who I had since I was nine years old. We grew up together, and she meant everything to me. I've been trying to figure out how to fill that void ever since she left, but it's been tough man. Then I came across Rover. Now, I get to spend time with everyone else's dogs, and I see Sugar in every single one of them, which makes me want to give them the time of their lives. I appreciate everyone letting me watch after their pets. Most people do this for money; I do it, genuinely, because I love animals. Not just dogs, not just cats, but everything else in between. I've worked on farms and at pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and rabbits, and even bred rodents for years - not to sell, but rather, just to care for and love. So this definitely is not limited to just canine and feline friends. I will care for any kind of animal. I have experience with them all. I work as a supervisor on 3rd shift right across the street from my house at a pet food manufacturing plant, making it super easy to take great care of your pet even throughout the night. I am home all day from 8am until 10pm, so there is really not much time ever where I won't be able to give your pet the care that it needs! I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your dog to run outside freely and plenty of room inside as well for a dog or cat or any other animal to roam about and go wherever their little heart desires. I have a young indoor cat who is very friendly and playful, a senior cat who stays in hiding, as well as two pet ducks that roam the yard who love friends. They have an enclosure of their own to lock them in if you are unsure of how your pet may react to ducks.

About: My daughter has 4 dogs that a dog sit for! I have had dogs my whole life from small to large. I hope to give your dogs the best experience while you are away. I work first shift with an hour lunch and am able to work with you schedule! My job allows me to be able to do many stop in visits throughout the day. I currently do not have a dog of my own and no children at home. I am able to fit your needs into my schedule.

“Mary kate is a great person to take care of your pets. I have used her twice now, once over last weekend she let my Katrina out to play and potty, and then Friday she took her on a long walk. I highly recommend Mary Kate to care for your pets.”

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

“Kristin was an excellent walker for our black lab, Chief. He can be a handful at times, but he took to Kristin straight away. She fit us in last minute, was on time, and sent us beautiful pictures from their walk. Looking forward to having her walk and dog sit in the near future. Thanks, Kristin!”

About: I was a dog trainer for many years and I just opened up my own grooming shop. Have owned dogs since 2012. Also fostered a few and love to volunteer. Love running with my dogs and going to the dog park. Home most of the time, and when I'm not my husband is there. Love working with different dogs. I learn from all of them. What works for one, may not work for others. Love doing agility courses with my dogs. I love giving my dogs a job, so they aren't bored. They are my world and your dogs would be treated the same. For drop in visits and walks, it‘s best on days when I’m not working. But for overnight stays, I can schedule time from work to come home for breaks or take the dog with me to work, as long as they are ok with other dogs. I take dogs out on leashes. I have a double door to go outside, so they can’t easily get out of the house. I also have baby gates and crates.

“I would highly recommend Shai as an outstanding dog walker and she would be my 1st choice if I needed a dog walker again. Sparky took to her right away, which is remarkable because Sparky can be temperamental. Shai was willing to walk Sparky in cold, nasty weather, which shows her dedication. I'm sure Sparky appreciated the exercise.”

“Since Denver was a child, we have always had pets in our home. The care of the pets was partly the responsibility of Denver including maintaining a feeding, grooming, potty and exercise schedule. He transports Riggs, as needed, to the kennel if we were to be out of town. Tug is new to the family and he is assisting with his training.”

Rachel F.
“As long as I have known Rachel, she has always been around dogs and has been the best dog sister/mom. I love how she treats her current fur baby as the cutest travel companion. Rachel and her fiancé take Pickles kayaking, hiking, etc. That pupper isn’t left out of anything. She truly cares for all animals and is always willing to help us out with our dogs when needed.”

Amanda G.
“Amanda’s great with dogs and it’s obvious that she loves working with them. On top of that she’s always very vigilant about their safety and makes sure they have everything they in order to make sure they’re taken care of. Couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter.”

Sophie C.
“My pet is my pride and joy and I trust very few people to take care of them when I am gone. Sophie is the first person I trust to take care of my baby. I know when he is with her, he is safe, loved, and cared for. Sophie has such a big heart and love for all pets. She always sends me pictures and keeps me updated on how he is doing. He always is so excited when he sees Sophie and I know he loves her cause she takes such good care of him. When I am busy at work Sophie is always willing to go to my house and feed him and take him on a walk for me. Sophie would make a great addition to the Rover team, and I know future families and pets would be lucky to have her.”
