“Another good stay at Steve and Patty’s for Zane. We are so grateful to have a safe, clean environment for our little dog! Steve is knowledgeable concerning his every need and really cares about all of his boarders. We leave Zane , knowing that he is in good hands !”

“Dora now has a GRANDMA! Her name is Charlene & Mistress Dora LOVES her! (Dora likes Rick as well) She had do much fun playing at Charlene's! Grandma Charlene takes care of her pups as if they were her own. She also sends daily pics, upon request. When I couldn't drop Dora off, Charlen & Rick popped right over to collect Dora & ALL her stuff. They both followed my written instructions which ensured Dora had a safe & loving stay.”

About: i grew up living with 4 dogs and multiple litters of puppies. i love grooming my dogs, training them and cuddling with them. my old landlord had a dog that he never took care of so i took care of her everyday until she sadly passed away. i have two dogs i take them out every 2-3 hours. i sometimes take them to fields so they can run around and play for a few hours. i make sure my pets have food and water at all times. i give them baths and clip they’re nails when needed and give them lots of love and play with them. i do have a crate but only use it when i need to.
“Katelynn has gone out of her way taking care of my baby before, but that was nothing compared to the help she offered me during the winter storm this December 2022. She took her a day early because I booked it wrong, watched her an extra few days (and offered to do it for free if needed), and watched over Suka like her own dog. It was very hard for me to be without my dog for so long, but knowing she was in such good hands made it much easier. I cannot believe how kind, generous, and wonderful Katelynn is. If you need a pet sitter, she’s it. I will be recommending her to everyone I know, she is amazing!!”

“We were extremely pleased with the care and attention that Michelle gave to our dog Dixie. She took great care of our dog and when we came to pick her up, I think Dixie would have been happy to stay longer. The house, the accommodations and the caretaker were perfect for our dog and she was very relaxed when we came to pick her up. Michelle was a very good "fit" for us and Dixie. We definitely would use Michelle again.”

“Kathryn and Jared were great with our female pittie with her 11 day stay. Their dogs welcomed her, and they had a great time just by looking at the pictures they sent. We will definitely use them the next time we go on vacation.”

“Adriana was amazing! She took care of Denis as he was her own. Provided pictures and updates via text! If we are ever back in the CNY we will definitely be contacting her to watch our boy.”

“Coop had just a fun time! As happy as I was to have him come home, I know he was sad to leave his new friends! It was so cute to see Justin's little girl with his leash walking him!!! Besties for life!! Would recommend Justin and his family to anyone!”

“Candyse and her family were amazing. My dog had a great time and shr was so accommodating of our rush request and schedule challenges. Highly recommend!!! And we will be coming back.”

About: For nearly 20years I’ve been caring for animals of all types. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Reptiles, and just about everything in between. Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers and Clients have relied on me to care for their furry family members & I’ve had furry family members of my own my whole life. I have worked with all ages and sizes, and am comfortable with pets with disabilities or medical needs. For the past 16years I’ve cared for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional. I am currently doing that as a part-time night shift, so I am available most days and eves, during the week and on weekends! I have loved many forms of my own pets and understand the importance of safety and trust that comes with caring for another’s loved one. I currently plan to do pet walking, play dates, and sitting in your home. May consider overnight stays. May consider boarding on case by case basis. Always open for requests, and again, will consider on a case by case basis.

About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊
“Erin was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so at ease leaving our fur baby with her. She always made sure to send pictures and updates during our trip. Murphy had a great time playing in their yard and going on walks. I would definitely use them again to watch Murphy!”
