About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I currently work from home so I am always available to love your pet and take care of their needs! I love taking care of dogs! Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.
About: I have volunteered at the Humane Society as a dog walker for 6+ months and now I currently volunteer providing vet services, worked at The Animal House as a kennel assistant, and working on a dairy farm while at college. My work experience has taught me how to medicate, walk, feed, and groom all breeds of dogs and cats! I am currently a student at UW-Platteville for pre-veterinarian/animal science and working at the campus dairy farm. About: I have had pets since I lived with my parents. I've always pretty much had a dog growing up and my husband and I have a Springer now and also a cat! I have experience giving dogs diabetes shots, feeding, walking, picking up after, playing with, and it course cuddling with them. I work full time but enjoy staying busy so evenings, Fridays, and weekends I am free. I don't have any dogs that I won't take care of, I truly love them all-small, medium, and large. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
