Looking to love your animals... I currently teach school. I will basically live at your home until you return. This is the least stressful for your animals. Especially for older animals. My goal is happy pets when you return. I have no other family commitments. Love animals and their company. I will walk them daily and play to help with built up energy. Keep them on their schedule. About: I have cared for animals of all kinds—cats, dogs, and birds—since I was a kid. My experience includes caring for my own dogs, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs like managing diabetes. I also volunteer at Jeffersonville Animal Shelter, where I walk puppies and help get them some fresh air and exercise. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to care for coworkers’ dogs, which has made me comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds—no dog is too small, big, young, or old for me. My own fur baby sadly passed away this past April due to cancer, and because of that, I’m passionate about spreading love and care to as many animals as possible. This work means as much to me as it does to those I’m helping! I work Wednesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM, so I’m happily available to care for your pets full days on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I’m also available to stay overnight during the week to keep your furry friends company and make sure they feel safe and loved. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just being there for snuggles, I treat every pet like my own and make their happiness my priority. :) When providing in-home boarding, my goal is to ensure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible—from feeding and medication to walk times and bedtime rituals! I treat your home with the utmost respect and care, keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it. I maintain open communication throughout the stay, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I'll make sure your animal is well taken care of. I will treat them like my own. From a morning walk to a relaxing night, I'll be there for your animal. For me, fur baby care comes before myself. They get fed when it's time to eat, never late on that. Don't forget the morning treats for those teeth either. I always have an extra leash in my car. No fur baby ever leaves my eye site. I always walk the yard to make sure there is nothing that can harm them.

About: Hi, I currently am in school to become a vet technician! I have experience with difficult dogs and cats from my time working in the animal shelter, as well as dog and feline medications! I have 3 poodles of my own! and I have also owned rats and hamsters before. I would love to cater to your furry family! I currently work a 9-5 pm at a veterinary hospital. I have plenty time for your furry friends and their overall well being and task that may come with that. I am very flexible to fitting your normal schedule to keep your pets as comfortable as possible. I will make sure your pets are take out frequently and are able to get lots energy out and love.

About: Hi! I’m Gianna — a lifelong animal lover with a dream of becoming a veterinarian. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, so I’m confident with everything from playful puppies to senior sweethearts. I offer flexible availability, including walks, drop-ins, overnights, and plenty of cuddle time. Whether your pup needs exercise, company, or just a loving presence while you’re away, I’ll treat them like family. Animals are my passion, and your pet’s comfort and safety always come first! I’m currently a flight attendant but I usually only do day trips so I’m always available after or before work. I know my schedule a head of time so that will never be an issue. I’ve grown up always having dogs and cats but since moving out I don’t have any. So I currently don’t have any animals as of now.

About: After going through dog training with 4 dogs (and 2 additional in service dog training) as well as volunteering at a cat shelter for 3 years in college, I feel prepared to encounter many pet situations! From administering medication to meeting basic needs and providing lots of love for all ages of animals, I've done it all! First thing in the morning, I walk my velcro dog, Shadow, a loyal lab/border collie/beagle mix for about a mile. When I get home from work, Shadow and his momma, my Sunny Girl, and I eat dinner together before curling up to watch their favorite show, Law & Order: SVU until we fall asleep. Occasionally we snack on cheesesticks or whipped cream together, too! In a client's home, I value following detailed directions to ensure the pet's routine is as close to normal as possible. Their safety is my priority, and I know they may be a bit dysregulated with me taking care of them instead of their normal human! I focus on creating a bond with them through whatever their motivation may be - snacks, positive reinforcement, petting, etc - and will only go for a walk with a secure leash. In the backyard, I'll verify that the gate is secure before heading out! I'm there to do a job, and it's one I take seriously: giving them the best wags-and-purs experience I can until they see their humans again!

I have had dogs my entire life (a Bischon, Maltese, Havanese and Goldendoodle most recently), so I am definitely comfortable and experienced with taking care of dogs. Pippi, Lola and I love making new fur-friends, so please feel free to message me with any questions and I will be happy to answer as best I can! I currently work from home full time. About: I’ve had pets my entire life and I even worked in veterinary care for a while. I now am a work from home dog mom, and I am here to help make sure you know your dogs are safe and cared for while you deal with everything else life throws your way. I work from home so I am able to provide attention and regular bathroom breaks for dogs. Weather permitting, we have a backyard safe for playing and we can get some light exercise in on my lunch or after work. I have a fenced in yard and a dog at home to keep your pet company. If you prefer it is not an issue for me to keep the dogs separate. I do require a meet and greet before officially accepting any new dogs to confirm that our pets will get along.

About: I have owned pets all my life and helped friends and family take care of their pets when they would be out of town, I enjoy being around animals. I am recently retired and enjoy being around animals. I am looking to do something that I enjoy to feel my time. I can do days nights weekends. I would be available any day or night to walk or feed or check on your fur babies, when you are out of town and need someone just to check in on your pet.

About: Having grown up caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, I understand how much your pet(s) mean to you and am willing to go above and beyond to keep them happy and healthy while you are away! Most of my clients find me through mutual connections rather than Rover, hence my lack of many reviews and repeat clients. I have been pet sitting regularly for over two years now, and have multiple regulars who are happy to serve as references! In addition to my experience caring for personal and client pets, I have also worked multiple positions in vet med. This has given me a unique insight on animal health and care, and can give you peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I am currently a full-time student pet sitting in addition to my “regular” job. Despite my busy schedule, I always try my best to be flexible and accommodate your pet’s individual needs! Whatever your pet’s day-to-day looks like, I will do my best to keep things as “normal” as possible to keep them comfortable while you’re away.

“Michaela has provided care for our pets on multiple occasions. We have 3 dogs, 2 very large. One of my dogs requires medication when it storms or there are fireworks in the area. Without this medication he has hurt himself due to anxiety. It was nice to have someone as knowledgeable as Michaela take care of him. I know my pets are safe and I trust that Michaela knows how to handle most situations regarding pets.”

“Gianna has been an incredible support for our family and our three small dogs, who require a lot of attention, exercise, and care. She’s exceptionally attentive to their individual needs and routines, and her calm, loving presence helps them feel safe and happy—even when we’re away. Gianna is reliable, communicative, and truly treats our dogs like her own. It’s rare to find someone so trustworthy, compassionate, and thorough. We always feel at ease knowing our pups are in her care.”

Olivia C.
“Dependable. Friendly. And genuinely cares about the animals. Have used her multiple times to watch my 2 older dogs because they do not do well in a kennel and it’s nice to have someone who will reliably come check on them when I am away. She will send updates when she checks in and lets me know my animals are safe and well cared for. Highly recommended.”
