“If we could give Elizabeth more than 5 stars, we would. She is truly the cat whisperer! We just moved to the Louisville area and needed to attend an out of town wedding. We had a wonderful Rover pet sitter for our cat prior to moving here and were concerned we wouldn’t be able to find one just as wonderful here in Louisville. Elizabeth eased our minds from the very first meet and greet. It was obvious that she was professional, reliable, trustworthy and loved animals. We couldn’t have chosen a better sitter for our cat. Elizabeth proved to be very conscientious by writing a summary of all that was taken care of during each visit along with providing several photos. We won’t hesitate to call her each time the need arises. We can’t thank you enough, Elizabeth!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Daniel. He went above and beyond all of my expectations. He responded quickly to all of my messages and helped put my mind at ease. My cats absolutely adored him. I will absolutely be rebooking with Daniel if I ever have to leave town. I highly recommend him for all of your fur-babies needs.”

“Debbie is the best! We feel we can step away with peace of mind because of her. We love her and our cats love her…which is saying a lot bc our cats don’t socialize with others typically. We are so grateful to you Debbie. Thanks for loving our babies like they were your own.”

“Nick dropped in to check on our pitbull Rainbow while we were gone for the day. Appreciated that he sent plenty of pics and she seemed very happy and well looked after. Thanks Nick!”

“The best dog sitter ever!! Goes above and beyond. She takes great care of our 2 dogs and is such a blessing. My family experienced a tragedy and while I was out of town for the memorial service she folded my towels that I had left on a chair🥰 Very sweet and thoughtful lady (and her husband).”

“Jenny is the absolute BEST!!! She gives wonderful recaps of her visits and the funniest/cutest pictures! I’m confident our guy has a great time when she comes to visit him!! Couldn’t recommend enough”

About: I have been an animal sitter for several years and have loved every minute of it! I treat your fur babies how I would want my fur babies to be treated and loved. I currently work full time during the day. Over my animal sitting years, I make sure to take care of your animals in the morning before work, on my lunch break if needed and all evening after I get off of work. When I am with your fur babies, they get my full attention. I have stayed at clients homes with their animals several times over the last 8 years. I find it makes it easier for your fur babies to be in their own element while you are away.

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds—cats, dogs, and birds—since I was a kid. My experience includes caring for my own dogs, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs like managing diabetes. I also volunteer at Jeffersonville Animal Shelter, where I walk puppies and help get them some fresh air and exercise. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to care for coworkers’ dogs, which has made me comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds—no dog is too small, big, young, or old for me. My own fur baby sadly passed away this past April due to cancer, and because of that, I’m passionate about spreading love and care to as many animals as possible. This work means as much to me as it does to those I’m helping! I work Wednesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM, so I’m happily available to care for your pets full days on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I’m also available to stay overnight during the week to keep your furry friends company and make sure they feel safe and loved. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just being there for snuggles, I treat every pet like my own and make their happiness my priority. :) When providing in-home boarding, my goal is to ensure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible—from feeding and medication to walk times and bedtime rituals! I treat your home with the utmost respect and care, keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it. I maintain open communication throughout the stay, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve pet sit for neighbors for multiple years when I was 10-14. I’ve owned 1 dog, 2 cats and a leopard gecko. I dog sit for grandma when she goes on vacation. Recently adopted a 4 month old puppy who I am training to be a service dog! I am currently unemployed and needing to find work while I await responses from applications. I am free 6 days a week most hours of the day. I live in a 2 bed apartment with a dog area and lots of space to walk and play in. I currently have a 4 month old puppy who is high energy but loves other dogs.

About: Hi! I’m Gianna — a lifelong animal lover with a dream of becoming a veterinarian. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, so I’m confident with everything from playful puppies to senior sweethearts. I offer flexible availability, including walks, drop-ins, overnights, and plenty of cuddle time. Whether your pup needs exercise, company, or just a loving presence while you’re away, I’ll treat them like family. Animals are my passion, and your pet’s comfort and safety always come first! I’m currently a flight attendant but I usually only do day trips so I’m always available after or before work. I know my schedule a head of time so that will never be an issue. I’ve grown up always having dogs and cats but since moving out I don’t have any. So I currently don’t have any animals as of now.

About: I have 3 dogs, 2 Australian Shepherds and 1 Chihuahua. All the pups are 9 years old and love meeting new pup friends. They love to perform tricks and run around the back yard. I am a stay at home mom (but I will not bring them with me) and my husband works remote so I can be flexible. I have trained them to do tricks and have manners. I am also available to let out dogs or take them on walks. My schedule is very flexible. I love all animals and have had dogs all of my life. I like to walk my dogs every day. I am a stay home mom and my husband works remote so I have flexibility in my schedule and the ability to do my services during normal working hours. I prefer to not stay in the home overnight. I will always greet my pups and friends with a friendly smile and loving pets. I will make sure they are fed, have plenty of water and time to play with me. I think walks are important so I will take them on a walk unless told not to.

About: I have had pets since I was a child. I started pet sitting 13 years ago. I love all the fur babies I get to meet and their different personalities. I mostly sit for dogs and cats but now I even sit for chickens! I have 1 fur baby of my own - Catalina, my cat. I currently work from home. My job allows me the flexibility to work wherever I have an internet connection. I would love the opportunity to sit for your fur babies. I love to care for pets in their own home. I work remote and will be with your fur babies 24/7 unless I need to run an errand or just pop out for a bit. My number 1 priority is your fur babies. I apologize, but due to health reasons I will not be able to sit for anyone that has a smoker in their home.

About: Hi my name is Blake! I am a respiratory therapist who currently works at a hospital in Louisville Kentucky. I went to college at Bellarmine university and graduated in 2019. Im an active person with some free time on my hands and love caring for animals. I would love to spend some time with your furry friend by going on walks , playing with toys , or just relaxing outside. I’ve owned many different breeds of dogs in the past and don’t have a particular favorite. I’m open to walking, boarding, or house sitting . Excited to meet your dog and have a fun time with whatever your dog prefers to do . Thanks !🐕😀 Me and my partner both work part time with one of us always being home to be with the dogs. We make sure they are cared for with love and attention as much as we can I have 2 friendly, young dogs that love to play in the backyard or just chill inside and take a nap . We can give multiple potty breaks and update you with pictures.

About: After going through dog training with 4 dogs (and 2 additional in service dog training) as well as volunteering at a cat shelter for 3 years in college, I feel prepared to encounter many pet situations! From administering medication to meeting basic needs and providing lots of love for all ages of animals, I've done it all! First thing in the morning, I walk my velcro dog, Shadow, a loyal lab/border collie/beagle mix for about a mile. When I get home from work, Shadow and his momma, my Sunny Girl, and I eat dinner together before curling up to watch their favorite show, Law & Order: SVU until we fall asleep. Occasionally we snack on cheesesticks or whipped cream together, too! In a client's home, I value following detailed directions to ensure the pet's routine is as close to normal as possible. Their safety is my priority, and I know they may be a bit dysregulated with me taking care of them instead of their normal human! I focus on creating a bond with them through whatever their motivation may be - snacks, positive reinforcement, petting, etc - and will only go for a walk with a secure leash. In the backyard, I'll verify that the gate is secure before heading out! I'm there to do a job, and it's one I take seriously: giving them the best wags-and-purs experience I can until they see their humans again!

Blake & Marina W.
“Blake is the most playful, tender-hearted pet lover you will meet! Not only is he a responsible pet owner to his own parakeet and black lab, but he treats any animal as if they are his own, including my 2 golden retrievers. He has helped in training my 4 month old puppy and seems to be the only person with energy to match the puppy’s! He is diligent about responding to the animal’s needs and is a wonderful pal for your pet to have, even if for just a day!”

Olivia C.
“Dependable. Friendly. And genuinely cares about the animals. Have used her multiple times to watch my 2 older dogs because they do not do well in a kennel and it’s nice to have someone who will reliably come check on them when I am away. She will send updates when she checks in and lets me know my animals are safe and well cared for. Highly recommended.”
