About: This is from a few years ago now, but everything still applies! I’ve been doing Rover for about 6 years, and watching people’s pets for over 10 years now. Hey there! My name is Abby, I am 30-years young and I absolutely adore all animals!!! My father is a self- proclaimed dog whisperer that is amazing with pets, and he taught me how to safely and successfully interact with dogs at a young age. Since I was a wee one, I have always had a natural ability with pets; they generally tend to be fond of me, dogs especially. I have had ample practice and training, with a wide variety of dogs over that past few years. I have been watching pets for eight years now! From the ages 22 -26, I worked at a school for at-risk girls. There all the faculty members seemed to have pets, and take all these trips! No one there had a reliable pet-sitter, for when they were out of town, so those families were forced to board their pets. So I’m talking to the school nurse one day, she’s newly single & has finished plans to start traveling the world. But she owns Harley, the yellow lab, who has recently aged immensely and is no longer well when boarded anymore. And There I was waiting & beyond ready to start my side-business as a dog-sitter. Harley, became my first client and more so my buddy, I watched him for 1 to 2 week periods, frequently, over the next 3 years. Then, the other staff members began to use my services, also. I had around 5-6 dogs that I would take care of on a regular basis. Whether that meant staying with them at their house, walking them multiple times a day, playing, and anything else that needed to be done! I have been doing Rover for almost two years, now, and am extremely confident in my skills! I look forward to any and all new clients. Feel free to ask me any questions and concerns any time! Right now, I am not allowed to house pets, unfortunately, so I have to stay over at your home. I have been doing that for years, and honestly, it makes the job so much easier for all parties involved, because the pets are so much more comfortable in their own turf! I currently work PRN as a CNA, which means I pick up shifts when I want to work. This allows me to be able to work around that schedule easily. I care for pets as if they were my own fur baby. I follow common safety practices while caring for animals- keeping them on leash, avoiding other pets during walks, etc. I am extremely vigilant of my surroundings at all times and try to prevent anything bad from happening by using my intuition and common sense.

About: I have experience in taking care of dogs and cats of all ages and with taking care of multiple pets at once. For four years, I have walked dogs, performed "check-ins", and house-sat for multiple local families in the area. I also have experience with caring for physically disabled dogs and giving dogs oral medication. About: I have taken care of several types of animals including rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. I have personally had a rabbit named Buttercup who lived until she was 13 years old and currently have two dogs and two cats. I have taken care of others animals over the past decade and some change including walking dogs, popping in throughout the day to provide attention and meals, and boarded at my own home. I am currently an occupational therapy student at Emory and Henry and am in my last semester. I am free Thursday-Sunday as I work virtually for my capstone project. When I am coming into your home to care for your beloved pet I ensure I am being respectful of your area and keeping it tidy. About: I connect with animals of all kinds! I've had several dogs and cats, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, snakes, lizards, and a chinchilla. I currently have goats, chickens, 5 cats and a dog. I care for animals the way I care for children, they bring me such joy! I have also captured strays to get them to a rescue, and helped wild animals with injuries. Outside of caring for my own animals, I'm not a very busy individual, so if you need a last minute service, I will likely be available. I can transport animals in my car and also have a female German Shepherd who is fixed and is sweet as can be, if your pup would like a play mate! I take care of my animals daily, but have plenty of free time for yours! Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

I have two dozen 5-star reviews from this site and others. Where to start? Three dogs with 11 legs, 50+ cats, 2 alpacas, 7 parrots, farm critters— Out of space! What else? And…um…Ack! Estates, hovels, and— Being retired from the rat race, I now sit full-time. That means I’m there 24/7 to give your Fur/Feather/Scale Babies and home love and care The safety of your pets/home are of utmost importance, so a schedule and information list are essential. I prefer arriving early to go over everything. Being retired, sitting pets and homes is my only focus. Actually, available within a four-hundred mile radius, all the way to the coast, the big city, and everywhere in between! I make certain your home and your pets are in the same pristine condition as when I arrived. The pets (who have lips) will be smiling. Of course, they will be even more exciting to see you again. The house would be smiling, if not for that whole lips thing.

About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.
