About: Hi We are Abby and Will. We moved to Louisiana less than a year ago. We do not have any pets yet, so your pet will have our undivided attention. We both grew up with animals and wouldn’t have it any other way. Being around animals makes us happy and you can have two pet sitters for the price of one! We both work full time jobs but have flexible schedules. I (Abby) get off work most days at 3pm and have open availability on the weekend. Will is free on the weekends as well and is periodically free during the day. We communicate well and will make sure your pet is taken care of! Our house is located in a peaceful neighborhood. We love to go for walks and our house has a fenced in backyard with a doggy door. We’re both up early and can make sure your fur baby is fed and walked if needed. Our philosophy is to treat people’s pets with love, respect, and kindness.

About: My experience with animal care is extensive and deeply rooted. My involvement in FFA during high school provided hands-on experience showing pigs and working closely with goats and chickens, instilling a strong foundation in animal husbandry. This practical learning has continued into my adult life, where I currently care for a diverse group of animals: five dogs, including two Cane Corsos, a French Bulldog, a Yorkshire Terrier, and a German Shepherd mix, along with two rabbits and four chickens. This daily interaction across various species has further solidified my understanding of their individual needs and the consistent dedication required for their well-being. I am certainly no stranger to the responsibilities and joys of comprehensive animal care. I’m currently not working . My availability is open . I do attend church on Sunday. Medication is administered during that time and is up to you whether that’s breakfast or dinner. Walks and Play Time follow with a belly rub or two and a couple of treats! Nap time is throughout the day as your pet sees fit and any other activity like brushing or bathing are options as well. Your pets are treated with love and respect. Animals deserve the same unconditional love they give each of us. My mission is to make sure they are happy when you are gone because I know this can be a stressful time for them I try to remain sensitive to the fact that they may need extra attention and affection until you return so that they aren’t anxious or upset with your absence.

About: When I was younger, I used to volunteer at Pet Refuge during the summer. It was one of my favorite things to do. I have been around and taken care of dogs my whole life whether it was the dogs in my home or friend’s and family’s homes. I am a full-time college student right now, although I do online. I currently do not have any other jobs as I just recently moved to Louisiana. Therefore I am available basically at any time to take care and play with your pets! I will care for pets in my clients home by following their routines closely for their pets in order to maintain minimal disruption. I will respect their home by cleaning up messes and maintaining order. Lastly, communicating updates to the owner, especially for health concerns is very important.

About: I have a huge love for dogs and cats both, so I’m always down to hang out with a new friend! I’m used to the puppy and kitten stage, but also well versed in the senior aged pets as well. I work a part time job as a barista with shifts lasting up to 8 hours. Most of the time my shifts are only 6, but I can make it before, after and then a little after that as well to ensure your pet is cared for. I do my best to follow set instructions given by you directly to ensure your pet is taken care of exactly how you are wanting and comfortable with.

About: Coming from the swamp lands of south Texas, I have had a love and great respect for all animals (including reptiles, insects and other non-human nature life) since a young child. My goal is to always leave our children feeling happy and loved. I have cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, turtles, fish, injured wildlife (when permitted as allowed by law) and most likely any other critters that might come to mind. My goal is to fill in for happiness gaps and take care of othwr basic needs when mom/dad has to take care of other life essentials. I like taking animals out (my reptiles go outside for nature slithers), I have also administered medications as needed to pets I have cared for. I can't day I have done everything, but I am willing to hear your pets needs and try to fit. I am currently freelancing, so my schedule is very fluid. I do not have any specific times, day or night that I am not available. Pets that I have kept in my home are treated as closely to thier home roitune as possible. I ask the pet owner to give me details and we try to replicate for the pets comfort. For pet visits in the client's home I ask for clients written and verbal instructions to follow. I always like to give feedback as pets are different with all people and environments and sometimes we find things that enhance the lives of the pets even more.

About: Being liked by animals is a huge deal to me; I take it very personally. I love all animals, and I always get excited when I meet a new client that has a breed I’ve never sat with before, or a pet that is not as common. I have currently only taken care of dogs, cats, and fish as pets, but I would love the opportunity to expand this. I do have puppy care experience, and senior cat & dog care. I have kept a few puppies whose owners were in the process of training them. I was shown the commands they were working on and told what motivated the pets to comply. I have also done sitting jobs with a deaf dog, and with blind cats & dogs. I recently fulfilled a contract for a nanny job I previously held. This has freed up my schedule quite a bit, as I am currently in between jobs. I am free most weekdays and weekends. Making sure pets feel comfortable and safe is a top priority for me. I love the companionship they give, and I thoroughly enjoy giving it back in return. I have no complaints about cuddles, or playing fetch 100 times! My goal when sitting for your pet is to offer them the same level of comfort as they would find if you were home. I know some pets struggle with stress/anxiety when their owners leave so I make it a point to make my presence warm and inviting so that they see a friend rather than a stranger. I implement any suggestions and/or directions that are given to me, and keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible; this including feedings, outside time, walks, medicines, even disciplinary practices*. I want your pets to have quality care, so that is where my sights are set. I look forward to meeting new friends!

About: I grew up in an animal family with dogs, cats and horses. Sometimes my family questions if our pets need the amount of emotional support that I give them. Trust me they do ;) I am stationed here at Barksdale, AFB. I work M-F 8AM-4PM, but get off around Noon on Fridays. After work and on the weekends, I only have down time for walks and cuddles! About: I’ve cared for and helped care for dogs since I was a young boy. I’ve been fortunate to have best friends that were labs, shih tzus, dachshunds, hound dogs, and terriers! There hasn’t been a dog yet that I didn’t like. I love their different personalities and quirks. My schedule is very flexible so I can be available most times of the day. I can drop in visit, walk, or run you pups! I live in an apartment and walk my two dogs multiple times a day. We also hike on the weekend to explore the beauty of nature. We visit many different parks to change up our routine! I try to keep it interesting for my furry friends!

About: I've had labs, mutts, cats, and even a tarantula in my years of owning pets! I can bathe if they get dirty, and have notoriously been called a cat whisperer by my friends. There's very little that could happen to gross me out or put me off from a pet. To me your pet is a loved family member and I treat them with the respect they deserve! I currently am only doing occasion drives for Uber and Lyft. The amount of time I have is open and can be easily worked around whatever schedules you need! I'm very good about messaging back in a timely manner and marking on calendars ahead of time when I would be unavailable. The only real requirement is if I stay overnight I have to run home at least once a day to feed and care for my own pets! First and foremost I do require meeting a pet before any sitting/checking and walking take place. As a stranger to your pets it’s best they see me when you are present first to make both them and myself more comfortable. I believe in being upfront with people in every way so I also must insist on being told if there are cameras or alarms on the property! No one likes to be jumpscared with those! Also if you have people who come by or have access to the property let me know, so I can let them in. (pest control, cleaning service, etc)I like having a list of what pets need and their preferences; as well as a good vet's number and location on file. I read instructions thoroughly and follow them to a T! I don't cave to begging if they aren't allowed! If provided I will follow training guidelines that you've set to the best of my ability. (for example you're working on no barking, I will also discourage barking!) I unfortunately must say as well any dog bigger than an average labrador(i.e. 70ish pounds) must be at least heel trained if I am to walk them safely; otherwise I will exercise them thoroughly outside instead. I am tiny, and large dogs don’t mesh well with that when untrained! So it's for the best! Please let me know ahead of time what level of communication you’d prefer when away, whether daily or only emergencies! I can take nice photos too, and will only put them on the profile with express permission. I also would prefer but am not required to have a list of their preferred schedule and feeding amounts. Pets are most comfortable when they can stick to a routine. Especially since a stranger in the house is already new! And last but not least if your pet has any quirks or history I’d like to be informed! For example an elderly dog that is kinda grumpy. Or hot spots, sensitive skin, lumps, allergies, bite history, etc.

About: I have grown up with dogs. We have five big dogs. I have taken care of them my whole life. I have also dog-sat for most of my family members! This would be my first “professional” experience but I am very comfortable with dogs and know how to care for them. I am a student and have a part time job, but I have a very flexible schedule! I am only unavailable Sunday morning due to church! I can take care of your dog however you need! Casual walks, or more energetic play, or running! I can also just keep your dog company in the house! or yard!

About: I have 3 dogs and and a cat and a house full of animal lovers myself. I have a sister who is also on rover that I occasionally walk dogs for when she isn't available. After February 6th I will mainly work weekend nights at my job. I can make myself more available the more notice I am given by a customer. My pets are spoiled princesses. All of them are regularly groomed and all shots up to date. All animals need love from any human I believe.

About: I have had many pets over the years I know as far back as I can remember. My parents always made sure me and my brother would learn the responsibilities of taking care of any kind of pet. I am currently working at Tyson’s Food from 3:40pm to 2am. My availability is from 6am until about 1pm Monday through Friday,most Saturdays I'm available all day, and on Sunday I’m available all day. About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. There is only one other person living in my home and they are only home after 5 pm. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed.
