âEmily is just an amazing girl!!! She took care of my cat like she was her own. This is the first time we've left her home and with a sitter. We could not have found a better personâ

About: Iâve had every pet you can possibly imagine and Iâve taken care of them with all my love and knowledge! As a kid I wasnât allowed to have cats or dogs as we lived in a small apartment. So I had hermit crabs, hamsters, turtles and fishes. At age 15 I got my first cat and now Iâm a proud cat owner of 5! 2 of them live with me and the other 3 stayed with my mom when I moved out 2 years ago. But I still make time to visit them often. I also have a 1 year old puppy who I love very much. I also had a Veiled Chameleon who I had for almost 4 years. She past away last April but she lived her full life expectancy and had an enriching life. Im able to give oral medications, potty breaks, walks, play time, and cuddles. I work a 4/10/40 scheduled which is 10 hour days, 4 days a week, 40 hours total. I work 3 days in the office and 1 day from home and I am off Friday through Sunday. I have 2 loving fixed inside females cats and a 1 year old crate trained puppy who is also fixed. They are very loving of other animals and mostly just curious. They are all vaccinated as well.
âHattie is amazing! Affectionate with my cats, patient, great communication, and goes the extra mile. I highly recommend her and will hire her again! She took care of my pets for a week and they loved her! Thanks for everything!!đđ˝đđ˝đđ˝â

About: Hey there! My name is Chloe and I am an unabashed animal lover! Iâve always grown up with petsâdogs, cats, fish, reptiles, invertebratesâso I have quite the soft spot for them. At age 16, I started volunteering with the Humane Society, and continued for 2 years before going on to college to earn my degree in biology. I have over three years of professional hands on experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments! I am currently working towards my training certification, but have several years of experience under my belt using positive and force/fear free methods. My dog, Sprout, and I love training together and even more, showing off the results. Sprout has her BCAT, is working towards her first dock diving title, and trains for multiple other sports. My dedication to caring for animals truly comes through when you meet my dog! Iâm currently working part-time which gives me the flexibility and availability perfect to care for your pet! Whether it be an overnight stay, drop-in, or walk, I make sure my clients are well-taken care of and happy when I leave. I try to follow your routine as closely as possible. Dogs find comfort in routine and giving them that extra sense of familiarity can help so much when their parent away. I live in a two-story home with a fenced backyard perfect for any pet! We donât have many rules here, certainly none about furniture! Your pet will have freedom to roam, or, if you prefer, a safe place to be crated. I am very flexible with how youâd like me to care for your dogs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Gravesboro. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
