About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life. I grew up with a German Shorthair Pointer as a family dog, so high energy is nothing new to me. I have senior dog experience that includes medication administration (including oral, topical, and injectables), palliative care, and hospice care. I have worked with dogs that do not have the use of their back legs, and dogs who have to wear diapers and need assistance using the restroom. I am a high school senior with early release. About: In addition to growing up with dogs, cats, horses, sheep and goats, I worked at Ben-Jee Kennels for two summers. My dog has never been the type to want to run off on his own. We live in the country far back from the road but, because he won't even go outside unless I go with him, a fence or restraint isn't needed. However, I have lived in cities where having dogs on a leash was necessary so I have experience with that - having walked 3 dogs at once at times in the past. I would never let someone else's dog outside without a leash, tie-out, or fenced in yard. My cats stay indoors to keep them, as well as, the birds and other wildlife safe but, if a client's cat is allowed outdoors, I will do as they wish.
