House Sitting in Grantfork

About: I have been a dog mommy for over 25 years, and have taken care of the pets of friends and family forever. I’m especially partial to dogs, but cats are great too…once they deign to allow me to enter their kingdom 😁. I recently had to say goodbye to me soul mate dog, so I have a lot of love to give your fur babies. Can’t wait to meet them! I’m worked from home for 6 years, and I’m currently between roles. I have nothing but time to dedicate to loving on your darling pets. I am active for those who like to walk, and I enjoy my down time cuddles up on the couch with a book and a sweet sleepy dog or cat. Let’s keep your babies at home where they are comfortable! I can come to your home and feed, walk, and give them outside time. Or, if you prefer, I can stay at your home with them while you’re gone. I’m a rule follower, so your house rules will be strictly adhered to, no question! If your pup is high energy and needs lots of walks, let’s go - I’m on a fitness journey myself! If they are in charge and have a designated spot on the couch, I’ll cozy up wherever they “tell” me I can. I just miss my doggo, and I think this is the best way for me to start to heal from that loss. Let me lavish love on yours!

He did a fantastic job with Biscuit who is 20 years old with multiple health issues and was very patient with us getting home much later than expected. About: I have worked with animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with cows, chickens, pigs, cats and dogs. It comes naturally to me. I work in the early morning so I am done with that job by early afternoon. I have flexibility and will let you know if there is any available time. I have a kind and gentle daughter who loves all animals, a sweet corgi and 2 lovely adopted cats. In my home. I have an indoor fence and kennel and 2 separate cat only(no dog allowed) rooms

About: I have had between 2-4 animals in my house since I was a kid. I have been pet sitting animals from kittens/puppies all the way up to 16 years old for the past 4 years consistently. I am good with helping animals take their meds and will interact with animals at their pace. I am currently working a part time job and starting full online classes so I can get my masters. This means that I will be free most of the time and will be able to make my schedule fit around my clients needs. In my clients home I will make sure to follow instructions given to me, ensuring I am familiar with all details to give the animals the best care. I will take any animals that enjoy walks for those in the area or to a park if they need to get energy out, play with them outside, or play with them inside. I follow a routine for feeding and for any meds they might have to take, while also checking to make sure they have full and clean water daily. If I am cat sitting I will make sure to check and scoop the litter daily as well if needed.

About: What sets me apart from others is that I have fostered many dogs and cats in the recent past. I have 5 animals of my own including 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have a special interest and love for animals and will always provide the best care. I also have a lot of training on dog body language and am currently in school to be a dog groomer! “Latasha was wonderful! From the beginning she came for a meet and greet and got down on the floor with my Percy! She asked very specific questions about his routine and wanted to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. During her stay she was very interactive with Percy. Took him on outings and walks and made sure he had plenty of play time and attention. On a night of a storm she let Percy sleep in bed with her to help comfort him!! Any concerns she had she messaged me immediately. She was great about sending updates and pictures to make sure I felt he was in good hands which definitely decreased my worries. About: I’ve worked in Animal Welfare for three years now, and currently work at the belleville area humane society. I see myself continuing down this path and would like to broaden my horizons. I’m looking into starting training as well in the future. I work with dogs and cats daily. I have nights off and don’t usually have other activities that occupy my nights. My off days are usually completely free. I live in a house currently and let my dogs out leashed. I don’t do any unsupervised activities. When I have other pets in my home/care I stay alert.

I just do Doordashing in my free time. So I can work the two apps around each other! I started Rover last year but stopped to try other things instead and take care of my health more.
