About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with small dogs and big dogs. I have gone through puppy kindergarten classes with my dog as well. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, Guinea pigs, birds and bearded dragons. Pet care fits into my routine as I am pretty flexible on weekends, so that I can let them out frequently. I work as an instructional assistant for an elementary school. I can care for animals before and after work as well as my lunch breaks. I follow the school schedule and get holidays and breaks off as well. I prefer staying in the clients home so that the pets can stay in their comfort zone and as close to their normal routine. With that said, I am also very flexible. I can stay in the home, offer drop in visits or care for them in my home. Whatever the client prefers.
“Very polite and professional, will definitely be a returning client for Kari! She walked my chocolate lab named Hiccup even though it started to rain. Thank you so much!”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, animals such as rodents, cats, dogs, fish and more! I have a deep love for animals and I will take care of your animals the same way I would want mine taken care of I am taking college classes in the fall, but I will still have time to take care, play, and hang out with your furry family! About: I will genuinely treat your pups like my own! I’ve had pets ever since I can remember - dogs, cats, & even fish. Today, I'm a proud plant & cat mom. Because I love traveling myself, I totally know how stressful it is to leave your babies behind & how important it is to have reliable, trustworthy help you can count on. I love taking dogs on adventures, whether that’s hitting trails to burn off energy or just enjoying a long, sniff filled neighborhood walk. I have experience with all kinds of personalities from high energy pups who want to play non stop, to sweet seniors who just want a slow stroll & some good couch cuddles. I love sending lots of photo updates & making sure your dogs feel safe, happy, & loved! I have a super flexible schedule. My days are open enough that I can easily prioritize structured potty breaks & long walks, without having to rush back to a strict 9-5 desk job. In my home your pet becomes a part of the family! My place is a pet friendly environment where they can fully relax & get cozy. While I don’t have a fence, I have a massive yard with a secure lead, so the dogs can get plenty of space while staying safe. Plus, they’ll get tons of attention & plenty of couch cuddles! If I’m coming to your house for a walk or a drop in, I’ll treat your space with total respect. I’ll strictly follow whatever routine you have for feeding, crating, or locking up. I'm always mindful of the little things like wiping muddy paws if it's rainy & making sure the water bowl is totally fresh before I leave. Plus, you can definitely count on lots of fun photo updates so you know exactly how great they’re doing! Whether your pet is hanging out at my place or I’m visiting yours, making sure they feel safe and comfortable is my biggest priority.

About: I am not a professional but sometimes I believe that’s okay. I’ve had dogs since I can remember. I’ve always had such a big heart when it comes to animals. I worked at a shelter while I was in high school and the hardest for me was not bringin them all to my house. I have two dogs of my own. They’re both older girls and very very laid back and friendly. I think every dog has personality of their own and that’s what is beautiful about dogs. I think taking care of dogs is more than a chore or a job, i think it’s more of passion. In my opinion you have to love dogs to be able to take care of them the way they need. I hope I can be what you’re looking for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
