About: I’ve been a dog mom to an amazing pup for 15+ years. My girl is now a blind senior so dog life has become slower paced. I miss long walks/hikes with dogs. I would love to spend time with your four-legged fur babes. I’m an active person who will never skip a walk no matter the weather (unless I can’t physically reach your home due to snow/ice/etc). Puppy to senior, I will take sincere care of your best friend(s). I work from home so have a very flexible schedule with most days available on short notice. I understand that last minute things come up; I am happy to help out in a pinch! I am not able to provide care to your doggo(s) in my own home however would be happy to in yours (your dog’s preferred environment). I am trustworthy, dependable (no flaking on you last minute), and caring. I will treat your home better than my own.

About: I have Managed 2 different dog kennels with ~40 dogs each over the past 4 years in Alaska. I have primarily worked with Alaskan Malamutes and Alaskan Huskies age range 3 days to 14 years. I have volunteered at rescue kennels as well, and have worked with all different dog personalities! I grew up with dogs, and have one of my own, Daisy, my rescue girl. I take care of my partner's dog, Xena, like she is my own as well. I am pretty nomadic and never really work a proper 9-5, giving me the flexibility to be at your house to take care of your animals whenever you need. I understand animal care is always top priority and there is no time to 'clock out' when watching your loved ones! I am happy to adhere to any feeding schedule, and take a dog on a leashed walk or off leash time in a backyard/fenced in area. I am a very active person and complete most of my outdoor activities with my dog. If you dog is high energy as well and would like to come along on a hike, bikejour or skijour I am happy to take them along. If you would like your dog to socialize, my dog daisy loves other dogs but is never overbearing.

I own a husky & a husky mix so I have lots of husky experience (and I’m aware at how smart and good at escaping they are), I also have 2 cats. They are my world and I would do anything for them. I have my own two dogs to care for, but if given enough notice I might be able to move things around with work. I have a fenced yard and two fur babies to keep your dog company. About: First off, i want to say that please give me several hours to respond to your requests.. due to the nature of living in the mountains and me sometimes having to drive, it often takes me a while to respond. There are times where the messages do not forward to my personal phone number until I’m back home on my personal Wi-Fi. I usually try to respond to all request within a few hours. I have over 25 years experience with all kinds of pets. We’ve been on Rover since the beginning of the app. I mean ALL KINDS! I have had iguanas to tarantulas and everything in between. We have no pets in the home and I usually only take one pet off of Rover at a time ...unless they are together. I have an 15 year old, animal lover daughter who loves to play and walk our Rover dogs with me..So, it like two professional dogs sitters for the price of one. We miss having a dog in our life and want to pamper yours. She also likes to take naps with them on the couch Our house is controlled by the pets. I work from home, in education, and am available for very flexible hours starting after my first morning meeting (8a.m). I can sometimes do earlier drop off times by request. Even when the weather is nasty, (like it often is in the mountains) we are in and out all day...I have many satisfied clients and many locals we work with year round. We have a fully fenced in yard and house but I never allow dogs in the yard without me accompanying them. I can try to do meet and greets for reservations requiring their pets to be here several nights or more. I can no longer fit in meet and greets for doggie daycare. It gets too hectic during season and I often have other pets we are watching during those times. It cuts into the time that others have paid for me to be with their pets. If you message me, it may take me a little while to get it from the app as a text and respond. My work schedule during the day (as well as the lousy phone service we have been having during season), delays things an hour or two at times. The messages get sent to my phone as a text from the app but it is not always instant. I respond back as soon as i can! Usually last minute request work fine with me as I am always home. I am always willing to negotiate price for reservations that are longer term for for multiple pets. I Work from home Monday through Friday and every other Saturday so I am always here with the pets staying with us I am available for drop offs anytime after 8:30 am on those days Weekends are more open with scheduling We walk throughout the work day as weather permits and on weekends can take dogs on more extensive walks if their health allows it. For those looking to just relax on the couch, we get that too!

About: I love animals but unfortantly live in a place where I am unable to have my own. I am flexible with my availability, because I work for myself. I am an energetic person and I love going on runs and seeing the sites. Your fur-ball would have a great time and get all of their energy out when booking with me. Animals need some time to get out of the house just like people, I would provide that type of service. I do not like being cooped up in a home, I like to see as much as I can by going far and wide. A skill that I posses is that I can pilot a single engine plane. I am also an avid runner. I work part time at a restaurant for a max of 6 hour shifts. I am able to be around for the majority of the days. I own a home in a quiet neighborhood with a partially fenced in yard. You’re pet can wonder all around the home and will be walked around a neighborhood with minimal traffic.

About: Not only has my entire life been full of all sorts of animals from cats and dogs to lizards and horses, I've also spent my time in Leadville caring for and training sled dogs! I've worked with a kennel home to over 120 amazing dogs of all ages and personalities. While the work is incredibly fun and rewarding, it gave me a unique skill in handling strong bodied and strong minded pups. Even if it means being dragged 50 feet, I don't let that leash go. I've also gained experience caring for litters of puppies from birth as well as caring for retired seniors. I haven't yet met a pup I haven't gotten along with, at worst we had to get to know each other slowly. Along with all my experience with dogs, I've raised and cared for many cats for friends, family, and myself. Most recently, I have started doing pet photography and putting my love and patience for animals to work! The results have been lovely and so much fun! I've also been on the team of the local pet store, working in the daycare and taking care of in home requests put through the store by locals, allowing me to get to know Leadville's very best. One day a week I spend the full day at a dog daycare in Leadville, caring for and entertaining our local pups. Otherwise, when I'm not making art, photographing our best friends, or going on adventures with my own pack; I'm taking care of any animal that needs me. As a bonus, I'm such an introvert I don't often participate in town events and tend to be available for pet care so all the humans can get involved in the event without worrying about loved ones left at home. I do have a reactive, senior dog in my home, so I don't offer boarding or visits to my home for her sake. Otherwise, I have no issues getting dogs or cats in their crate, on their leash, medicated, or fed. As a rule, I do not walk dogs that aren't mine without a good leash and a collar with a proper I.D. tag. Nor do I ever leave a pet unattended in my care, whether in the home or in a fenced yard. Food allergies are common, so I do not bring any treats/food of my own for another's pet and only feed what is instructed and provided. I want to have proof of updated rabies vaccines before working with a dog or cat, as well.
