About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. I live in a house with a large fully fenced backyard and have a doggy door which allows the dogs to move freely in and out of the house as they desire.

About: Always home and available to take care of pets with ample designated space inside and outside. Made for any kind of heat or rain. Always happy to drive pets to dog park. I am a full time online student and enjoy being home. Love pets so much and will have an eye of pets at all times. More than enough toys and zero chewing hazards at reach. There is an open space inside and a covered shaded open area with small patch of grass connected to the home. I am home 24/7 and will watch pets constantly. Any errands that need to be run the pets will be watched constantly.

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years now, and it’s truly one of my greatest joys. I’m a proud dog mom to a soon-to-be one-year-old Rat Terrier who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with love and laughter. We have a large shed for indoor cool play too for those hot summers. That biggg doggy house is just for the dogs , a comfortable sofa and cozy home like atmosphere for them! Whether your dog loves outdoor playtime, cozy naps, or peaceful walks around the neighborhood, I’ve got it covered. I’m also happy to crate your dog if needed to match their routine and keep them comfortable. Your pup will be treated like family here! 🐾

About: I grew up in a house with never less than 4 dogs at a time, to me pets are not just some animal that lives in the house with you they are family! My love and passion for animals grew into a career as an zookeeper but I never lost my love for domestic pets! From dogs, cats, fish, to exotic pets such as guinea pigs and hedgehogs. I am happy to give your furry family members baths, light grooming, medicine and lots of love! I have also handled multiple types of breeds professionally and personally. Some of my favorite breeds to work with are but not limited to Pugs, Rottweiler, Bulldogs, Pitbulls, dachshund, Golden Retrievers, Labs, Aussies, and so many more! From young to older, to special needs. I will be there for your special family member! I’m currently the curator of live exhibits at Shreveport Aquarium. I work mornings (7-4), so if you need someone to check in during the evenings, I’m your gal! 🤗 Since I have a pug, I prefer to use my harness on my dog during walks. Since I have a fenced house, they have full range of the back yard.

About: I’ve been caring for Dogs for the last 12 years from all kinds of breeds. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding with their schedule, and keeping them active and happy! I am currently in the airforce, I am available between Sunday, mondays and Tuesdays to spend time with your pups. I’m also available mornings and nights or whatever works for you:) I will make sure they go on plenty of walk and go outside. They also will get all the love and attention they need. I will also make sure they always have a source of water!

About: I absolutely love dogs. I have always had dogs myself and growing up we did as well. When we first moved here for the military, I worked at an animal hospital and gained a lot of knowledge. I am the type of person that gets really worried to leave my dogs with anyone while we are gone, so I want to be that safe space for someone that may be experiencing the same. I am big on updating and sending pics/texts during my time with your pup. I work full time remotely at home. I have flexibility with my job and am able to stop by throughout the day or keep your dog with me while I work at home. We are usually home all weekend too. I would love nothing more than to have some extra company! I have a fenced in yard and two small dogs (a yorkie and a shih tzu) to keep your dog(s) company. I have a kennel if you need one, and my dogs sleep with us and are allowed on the couch and so is your pup! I have a queen bed in my office as well as a dog bed for when I am working at my desk. If I am doing drop ins at your home, I am open to whatever works best for you.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: I have many years of experience dog sitting dogs of all ages, from senior dogs to young puppies. I’m very accommodating to high energy dogs who needs lots of activity and have experience with basic dog training from my days fostering dogs. I’ve fostered dogs with behavioral issues as well as separation anxiety, so I’m prepared for any situation. I adore all dogs and treat them like they’re my own (I have a 7 year-old German Shepherd). I will always leave your home clean and give your dogs lots of love! I’m currently working part time so I have very flexible availability and the ability to spend lots of time with your pets during the day! I’m an organized person and I like to keep things clean, so even though your pets will have lots of play time there won’t be any toys or messes left. I’m very respectful of a client’s space and treat it like I’d like someone to treat my home.

About: I am a huge animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, a snail and a fish. I love to play fetch with my doggies and love on my kitties. Our bearded dragon is a blast to feed and watch crawl all over the floor. My pets are not pets, they are family. The sleep in my bed and are treated like one of my kids. We love our animals so much when we my kids talk to them they call them bubba and sissy. I absolutely love being around animals. I know how it is to be away from home and wonder how my babies are doing or wish I was home to walk them or take them out to potty so I would love to help other pet owners and give them a piece of mind that their babies are in great hands!!!
