About: I’ve had experience with rescue animals in my home since my childhood. I began working as a pet sitter and dog walker (babysitter as well!) at 14, which has always been my favorite job! I was able to get a job as a kennel assistant in a veterinary clinic at 16 and worked my way up to a veterinary assistant position. I have dealt with administering medication and other veterinary procedures, and dealing with more special care required animals. I’m a college student taking online and in person courses through the local community college, so I have a pretty open schedule. Working a traditional job in college can be quite stressful, so I’m giving this a try! I have been working in other people’s homes for several years babysitting and pet sitting. I’m happy to clean dishes, take out trash, carry in mail and packages, and any other simple tasks. I always try my best to clean after myself and the fur babies each visit!

About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. Animals deserve the world and I love to make a difference in their lives even if they don’t understand it :) I am also willing to negotiate pricing based off your animals energy/need for attention/etc. Please reach out to me with any additional questions and I’d be happy to answer! I am currently a college student who is taking online courses to work on getting my degree. Other than daily assignments, I have no other daily commitments and will be available 90% of the time, other than my planned unavailability on my calendar! I have a large front and back yard with plenty of room to play. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat but she keeps to herself and is never a bother. I could easily keep her separated from your pet. About: Many members of my family have had dogs, cats, and various other types of pets for my entire life. In my own home, my parents began giving me pet care tasks to help me practice caring for animals when I was pretty young. These skills have developed significantly over the years. I am a loving and caring person and have always had a playful side. This being said, I am still able to handle stressful situations with a firm but compassionate hand. This gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to pet care. Currently I work two jobs, one full-time and one part-time. The full time job have regular hours M-F, 8am to 4pm. I would be able to do drop in visits both before work starts and after it ends. I usually work my part time job on weekends in the late morning- early afternoon. They are very flexible and as long as I get enough notice, I will be able to schedule visits then as well. I feed my cat on a regular schedule so I am able to do the same with your pet. I am also able and willing to play, bathe, or just hang out with your pets. Unfortunately I would not be able to have your pets in my apartment, as my complex does not allow unauthorized animals but I am more than willing to come to you!

About: I’ve had animals most of my adult life. I’ve just lost my cat and dog this year and need the fulfillment that a pet can give you! Unconditional love and affection! I work part time 15 hours a week and am otherwise wide open with time. I’m also available for walks and check in’s with dogs and cats. I have a fairly large back yard and have no other animals to contend with. I am trust worthy, honest and loving to all animals I currently work 5 hours 3x a week and am otherwise home. My schedule is flexible. My husband is also available to help If needed. I have over 1/2 acre and would walk your dogs 3x a day or more if needed. I have a dog park and park close by.

About: Just a runner training to make the Olympics. I run full time which is fun but doesn’t pay the bills yet. I work and train while coaching on the side. I live in Ballard and have transportation so getting around and taking care of pets isn’t an issue! Love working with all types of animals. House sitting is always fun. I have been house sitting since I was 14 and get asked every so often to fill in and watch the pets while keeping the house clean. Willing to do anything to accommodate and make things as easy as possible for owners! Can’t wait to get started! I’m currently working full time hours, but I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate most pets needs to be fed, walked, or played with I tend to ask questions about what the pets are allowed to do in home so that way I’m not breaking any rules or teaching unwanted habits.

About: I’ve never lived a day in my life without having a dog by my side, and I can confidently say that I can’t imagine it any other way. From puppies to our older friends, I love them just like they’re my own. After many years spent with different breeds, sizes, and ages, I am also well versed in pet first aid and common health conditions. I am especially fond of senior dogs and would be honored to care for them. I have recently begun a full time job in Richmond but still petsit often since I truly enjoy it. My schedule best suits check ins with pets in the mornings or evenings. You will never have to worry about how your baby is doing. Because of my own personal (and very anxiety inducing!) experiences with being away from my boy, I am very diligent about keeping pet parents in the loop.

About: I work at Banfield in Newport News as a vet assistant. I currently have a senior dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my house (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at Banfield. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I usually get my monthly schedule at the beginning of the previous month I usually take my dog out every 3-4 hours to go potty while I’m home. If your dog has a routine he/she follows, let me know and I can accommodate!

About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs, 6 cats, a leopard gecko and several chickens, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will only accept animals into my home to be boarded that are dog-friendly. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. I do work full time but I am able to make drop in visits around my work schedule. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.
