About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

Not only did we get daily updates & pics, but she also sent a pic and informed us of a lump she found on one of our pups to let us know. About: I grew up always having pets. I currently have two labs (7 and 3 yrs old) and one cat (3 yrs old). I love taking my dogs walking, jogging, and hiking. They both get allergies in the summer from running through tall grass, so I am very familiar with caring for pets who take medicine regularly. My cat also went through a short-term illness, so I am skilled at seeing the warning signs. I like to approach new pets calmly and respectfully, giving them time and space to get comfortable with me through a proper introduction. I am very timely in my pet care and like to establish a predictive routine for feeding, medicine, exercise, and potty times. I am very understanding of different pets with different needs, so I like to be attentive to each pet individually. I work full-time Monday-Friday, but I can be available before and after work (5-7am and 5-8pm) to feed and exercise your pets! I am a homebody, so most weekends I stay close to home and will be available for drop-ins or house sitting. I often take my dogs for walks and hikes, so I am very comfortable taking dogs out for exercise. I like to keep owners updated, so I will send pictures and/or texts during visits and stays. I am very good at following directions if medications or specific schedules are needed. I like to establish routines with pets so they know what to expect even though I may be a new sitter for them.
About: I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 15 years, and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior pups. About: I grew up with dogs and horses and I now have cats as well I love all animals and I would do anything for them I will keep them safe and loved. I worked for a lady for about a year and a half and I took care of all of her pets and loved them and treated them as my own which I would do with yours as well. My main priority is keeping your pets safe and loved as I know how much they mean to you. I am currently trying to find a part time job but I will have time to do this and will make time if things are needed. I can crate your dogs if needed, I can feed them, I can love on them, I can let them out to go potty, and I can of course walk them. You let me know what you need and I can do it.

“Matthew watches our German Shepard fora Week. Cooper loved him. When Cooper will sleep with you and let you give belly rubs you know he loves you. While we were gone I got a notice the lawn service was coming the next day for the final application of the year. I texted Matt and asked him if he could clean up the poop in the back yard. He not only cleaned it up he also raked the leaves. Amazing!! Before we left he spent an entire day with Cooper so they could get to know each other and see if he had any questions. He’s amazing and we will be using him next time we travel.”
“Perry was great with my German Shepherd Juneau! She came to my home and spent the night with her while I had an outpatient procedure. Juneau takes a bit to warm up to new people and I usually have her muzzled when she meets someone new . Perry stayed calm and collected with her and was able to feed her treats of chicken ( her absolute favorite ) thru the muzzle . There was one mishap with the muzzle and the kennel , however Perry was able to calmly and safely remove the muzzle for Juneau without incident . She was also great about sending me periodic updates during her time with Juneau and always responded promptly to any of my requests for communication as well as coming a few days prior to the stay to meets us . I would definitely use Perry’s services again and would highly recommend that you giver her a try !”

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
