2. Zach D.
“Zach is a lover of all dogs, even wild young puppies. He has had dogs in his family his whole life and has loved, played and cared for all of them. I left my 3 month old puppy with him for a month and I could not have had better care. He also helped to train her while he had her.”

3. Shay Lynn P.
About: As a veterinary assistant I am skilled in providing advanced care to a wide array of animals. I have experience in dog, cat, equine, and bird training and have provided first aid care to all the animals listed. As a dog, cat, horse, and bird owner myself, I understand the importance of finding a good pet sitter who knows how to provide every personal comfort an individual animal needs. Being new to the area, I am excited to discover Richmond from the eye's of the local people and pets. I will be doing pet sitting, walking, and care full-time. I am extremely flexible, as I know how life changes and plans can be interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances. Provided the owner gives a list of expectations for their household, I will follow their home rules to a T. I feed my pets twice daily, and allow them free roam of the house (except in the kitchen, that is a pet free zone). I enjoy cuddling on the couch and sleeping with my pets curled up close to me. However, I know that not every household is this way. Some have more strict rules, and others are more relaxed. I have worked with people that don't train their pets, and others that not only crate train, but keep their dogs completely separated in different rooms. Again, as long as I have proper instructions, I am willing to make sure the pet is in a state as natural as when their parents are home. My belief is that change can often stress pets out, and sticking to a routine is best for them. So I try to mimic their natural environment as close as possible as I can make it to when their parents are home.
