About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

I have loved and taken care of all kinds of dogs, cats, fish, small cages animals, reptiles, chickens, ducks, goats, and horses. In my past I have worked at a vets office as kennel help and at Pampered pets boarding facility. I’m currently a stay at home mom and a part time Instacart shopper. I would be able to give your pup some love and take out for walks during the time you are away at work or on vacation. I’m available during the week while my son will be in school and on the weekends if needed. I have a fenced in area and two friendly pups that would keep your fur baby happy and safe. She is a super sitter, such that every year on our way to Florida for vacation we drop them both at her place in VA. They love to spend time there with her. Neither of my dogs like to be in the kennel, but spending time at Tina’s provides them with special attention they require and the ability to exercise and run for a while each day.
