“Maddie was super flexible and took my dog, sage on a very long walk. I could tell sage was comfortable with Maddie and she got a lot of energy out on their walk. Maddie arrived on time and was prepared, would book again in the future!”

“Julia was super kind and understanding of my complicated dogs. She seemed knowledgeable and like she cared. She listened very well to all my needs and worked hard to accommodate.”

“I am so happy with Vanessa. We were her area for a tournament and staying in our trailer with our dogs. Being gone all day, we can’t get the dogs out for potty breaks and they refuse to use potty pads! I messaged Vanessa and she promptly accepted. She communicated very well and we video chatted the day before our arrangement to touch base. Everything went perfectly, she wrote great notes and pictures for us about her outing with the doggies. I’m thankful for the Rover service and thankful that Vanessa was able to take time for our two girls!”

About: I’ve cared for critters including opossums, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, pigs, chickens & more! I have such a deep love for animals, which makes caring for them never feel like a job. Pets left in my care are in the best care possible. I am currently working part time, which makes it very easy to care for animals at the same time. My longest shifts are 8 hour days on Sundays & I usually have 3 whole days off per week. I typically do whatever makes the pet and the owner most comfortable, such as regular drop-in’s, overnight stays at the pets home, sleeping next to the pet. I keep up with any typical needs of the pet such as bathing, walking, etc. and I also like to keep the owner updated and send photos.

About: I have always had a dog in my home since i was a child. Collies, huskies, labs, pits, chows, shitzus, shepherds, big dogs, smalls dogs, reactive and chill. My current boy is a high maintenance ball of love whose fear reactivity presents as aggression. I have learned from him exactly how to make a stressed dog feel comfortable. I know how to care for a dog on their terms, while meeting their needs. My current job allows me to be highly flexible in my day to day. I make my own schedule and can easily rearrange things as needed. I have high integrity. The safety and happiness of the pet is my highest priority. I am always respectful of my clients home and belongings.

About: I’m 28 years old and a lifelong animal lover with years of experience on Rover. Growing up, my mom rescued animals, which gave me hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets. Over the years, I’ve worked for Wag, fostered animals, and shared my home with some amazing furry friends—including my late cat, Kenny, and my sweet Shih Tzu, Bella. Now, I have Darcy, my adorable pup, and I can’t wait to welcome your pets into my home! I know that every pet is unique, so if you’d like to discuss custom rates or specific needs, feel free to message me! I’m happy to adjust as long as it’s reasonable. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! Got it! Here’s a concise, 25+ word response for Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and providing companionship throughout the day. When I go to a clients home I basically fill in as the role of mom and dad, keeping to the fur baby’s schedule the the best of my ability! Depending on the dogs personality it looks a lot like a conversation you’d have with a toddler for the most part haha! just a lot of me going “oh my gosh hi!! what’s up? what do you need?” lmao

About: I am familiar with dogs of all breeds. I am very intuitive to dogs. I have walked up to three dogs at once. I would be interested in taking your dog or dogs to dog parks and etc. My schedule is pretty open. My dog is getting older and can't do so much any more. I am looking for personal exercise and income. I I live in an apartment. I walk my dog 2-3 times a day on a normal day plus I try to take him to the park twice a week.

Whether your pup needs a relaxing walk or a bit of structured guidance, I tailor every visit to their personality and needs. Your dog's happiness and safety are always my top priority. I enjoy spending my spare time caring for animals that need a little love in the absence of their owners or in transitions. I generally prefer to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home so they feel as safe and at ease as possibly. I also have a fully fenced backyard and enclosure to keep the kids out of trouble in my own home. I work full time in an office. During weekdays I will do my best to fit in your pets needs whether it be a drop in or walk. At this time I am not hosting any pets at my home. About: We specialize in medium to extra large dogs here on the farm. From puppies to hospice aged canines, we have the experience and welcome all breeds. Our farm specializes in retirement horses, so we take pet care responsibilities seriously. We are home most of the day, but do have on-call local transport appointments that may take us away from the house for a few hours. We have a fully fenced 9 acre farm. We go for romps with the dogs in the pastures not being used by the horses. Dogs are family to us, yet they are dogs.

“Misti is absolutely amazing!! She has been taking him for regular walks for about a month and she always takes such good care of him. It is so nice to not have to worry about my dog when I’m gone! I absolutely recommend!!”

About: I've had pets and have done animal husbandry all my life. I have two medium sized dogs who get along great with others. Large fenced yard is loved by all. My husband and I are retired and home all day most days. We have a regular exercise routine that includes the dogs, walking, playing ball, biking on my recumbent, swimming, etc. We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. We also have comfortable extra rooms when a dog needs alone time. Max is my Australian Sheperd and he loves to play and gets along wonderfully with others. Hope is a part Aussie and getting old. She often likes to go be by herself.

About: I work as a veterinary technician and have 6+ years of pet sitting under my belt. I also have a private mobile nail trimming business that I run part time on the side, I have a pretty large client base with many references from that. I am comfortable working with pets of all shapes and sizes, and don’t have a problem working with pets that may have behavioral concerns. I can administer medications and even care for pets with serious medical needs. I am currently working full time at a veterinary hospital but I have 3 days off per week for all day service and can make home stops in the AM before work and PM after work. Unfortunately at this time I do not offer services in my own home - I have two dogs and two cats of my own, and one of my dogs is elderly and extremely grouchy so bringing in outside pets is not an option for our household. I am no longer offering overnights unless it’s a single overnight. My typical client hires me to stop in 2-3 times daily to feed, walk, medicate, and play with their pets! I also offer dog walking services and mobile nail trimming/basic grooming!

During that time, I saw how she gave up her job to care for her mom during her final months of illness and death with care, strength and love with determination to provide for her mom and herself. Since that time, Eilene has been focused on work and also volunteering for various activities and projects at our church. She is willing to help others including me when I had major surgery last year. Eilene brought our family a dinner and frequently called to see how I was doing again demonstrating that loving care she had for her mom. I know Eilene has a great care for animals as well. She likes to walk a lot and feel Eilene would be a good dog walker.”
