About: Over my years I've had different breeds of dogs, and other animals in many different enviroments. Animals approach me out of nowhere. Training animals comes easy to me, I'm patient, thural, and dedicated. Falconry dogs, working class dogs, and even the little ones. Animals are my life, they come first and they love me. Give the dog time to come to me and it'll never leave my side. Follow the owners instructions. Make sure the dog always has water, fed on time, potty breaks, and time outside. Learn the dog and learn how to take care of it.

“Mackenzie was great! She was very concientious and took time to go over our dog's quirks. Our dog Bliss, that can often take a while to warm up to people, took to Mackenzie imediately. Our dog really enjoyed the walks with her, she even did a lot of running which he really enjoyed. If she was not moving out of town, we would continue to go with her. She seems very mature for her age with a very good work ethic and an obvoius strong effort to treat people's very precious pets like they are deserving of the special attention she gives.”

About: Been a current proud owner of nine goats, four cats and two dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with care for livestock and house pets. I am currently available to provide 24/7 pet care on the weekends. During the week I am working part time at a day care in Nevada City, with shifts consisting from 5 to 8 hours. I typically have Mondays off and am off work by 5:00 or 5:30. Before I relocated, we did lots of walks around our neighborhood with our young shepherd mix and five year old cockapoo. They are always presented many occasions to use the bathroom and spend time outside with us.

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: Hi! I grew up on a working family homestead in Oregon, where caring for animals was a natural part of daily life. My mother also ran a pet grooming Business for over 10 years, where I learned how to handle pets that’s aren’t my own. I also worked for a year at petsmart as a groomer/bather myself. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of looking after everything from livestock to house pets—but dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve personally cared for several beloved cats and dogs throughout my life, and I currently share my home with two wonderful cats. I’m especially experienced with Bengal cats, thanks to years of house- and cat-sitting for my sister, who breeds them. At times, I’ve cared for more than 12 cats at once, including administering medications—even to squirmy kittens! It’s not always glamorous, but I’m calm, patient, and confident when it comes to animal care. I’m deeply attuned to animals’ needs and take pride in being gentle, observant, and responsive. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe and happy while you're away. I love animals of all shapes and sizes (though I’ll admit reptiles and bugs aren’t quite my thing). I’d be honored to care for your furry friend and look forward to meeting them soon! ** ➡️ I want to also mention that my husband, typically joins me if there’s an extended stay booked. I always make sure to communicate about this- some animals have an aversion to men, so I take care to double check with you to make sure this is ok. He also has a lot of experience caring for animals in general, but is an excellent partner in caring for our two kitties and with his past experiences growing up with dogs and many other animals on a farm in Europe, he is a wonderful pet care partner! ❤️ we look forward to serving you and your pets! I have an open schedule. I work for myself doing Lyft and Uber in the area so I don’t mind traveling and make my own schedule! At this time I don’t offer boarding. We have two cats, and don’t want to stress them out. I do, however, have lots of experience house sitting with pets and always leave a place better than I found it and take full responsibility for our pets environment and needs. I am tidy and will clean up any spills or messes made by me or your buddy.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

I make my dogs food but totally respect all dog food choices you may make.

Joshua D.
“I have known him for twenty years, every animal I've went straight to him, purring, tails wagging and followed him everywhere. His animal magnetism is through the roof, even the neighbors animals. He let's the animals go to him. He knows how to follow instructions, read the animal and if he's not early he's late. Whatever amount of time is need to get the job done he makes that the priority.”

She has grown into a caring human being who loves to try to establish a bond with every animal she meets, wanting to understand them and earn their trust. She is eager to learn new skills and grow from new experiences.”

Jillian H.
“Jillian house/dog sat our energetic mini Aussie for 2 plus weeks in the fall of 2023 and again in the spring of 2024. Jillian met all our expectations and then some. She clarified our questions and kept us updated along the way. She loves the outdoors and took our dog on daily walks and other hiking adventures. Jillian loves dogs and our dog loves her too.”

Nikita D.
“I have used Nikita as a dog sitter for my 100 pound yellow lab quite some time. She is efficient and so great with him. He loves seeing her and the best thing about her is that she is active and our lab loves that. She loves being outside and so does our 12 year old lab, but she also knows his limits as far as how much is too much. She is so incredibly respectful when she stays over in our home which is a huge relief! We don’t use anyone else when we go on vacations or go out of town for a weekend. I would rate her 100 stars and recommmend her to anyone that’s wants a loving dog sitter.”

Erica B.
“Erica is an amazing caretaker. She has loved and cared for two of my precious poochie dogs over the past 20yrs. She is a devoted dog mama herself and also a mom of two beautiful amazing children. She is patient and kind and fun and caring and you should definitely hire her to take care of your dog or cat or any furry friend you have. Everyone will be happier because of it!”
