About: I’ve taken care of dogs every kind for as long as I can remember weather it was for my parents, friends and neighbors. About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been working in dog rescue for 12 years so I have extensive experience with special needs and dogs of all breeds and behaviors. My husband and I have fostered over 110 dogs since we started fostering 12 years ago. We have two cats and two children in the home as well so dogs that stay with us must be okay with both. My children are very experienced with new dogs in the house, and know how to appropriately interact with them. We have had experience with pregnant foster dogs and litters of puppies as well. I am a teacher and work only 5 minutes away from my home. I am able to come home on my lunch break every day to take dogs out for a quick play time and potty break. Dogs will not be alone more than 4 hours between potty breaks. We are home most evenings and weekends. My kids absolutely adore dogs, and look forward to having new playmates! We have a fenced in back yard that is 4 foot tall. Our fence gates lock so that they cannot accidentally be left open. We have several walk through baby gates in our house to keep dogs away from front doors so that they do not have a chance of escaping the house. Our house is all water proof vinyl flooring; we know dogs in new places sometimes have accidents, and that's okay. Dogs either sleep in bed with us, one of the kids, or in their kennels, whichever they prefer. When we are not home, dogs not from the same home are separated in either different rooms or are kenneled, whichever is appropriate for your dog for safety reasons.
