About: NOTE: I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 3 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. I currently have two dogs of my own. They can play all together or be kept separated! I also have experience giving dogs meds as some of the dogs in my care have different long term conditions. Can’t wait to meet your precious pups! Pet care is my priority while hosting! About: I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages (my corgi, Vinnie had some back and hip issues at the end of his life) and all sizes. I grew up with labs and had my corgi for nearly 10 years. I have helped friends and family care for their dogs over the past 20 years. While I have not cared for strangers’ dogs, I love every pet I come into contact with like family and treat them as such. About: I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life.
