“I booked Susan at the last minute for a drop in visit for my two labs while we had a long day out of town. This was our first time using her, and considering we’d never met and I have a husband who is nervous about having people in our house we don’t know, it was a relief that everything went perfectly! She followed instructions to the T, sent a couple of pictures and we felt very comfortable with her. We will use Susan again!”

About: I have owned many dogs in my life. From big dogs to little senior chihuahuas have I had the pleasure of caring for in my home. I also grew up around horses, pigs, cats, chickens, and goats! I can’t remember ever having any aggressive experiences. I am working part time and will also be starting esthetician school part time. I will be working and doing school from 7-5. During my free time and weekends I can care for your pet. I am attentive. I can crate, feed, walk, and occupy your pet as needed. My own dog gets play time daily, fed once a day and plenty of outside time!
“Gabrielle is amazing! Our dogs loved her and she wad very responsive. She even played with our lab who requests from everyone to play catch with her rope toy! We will definitely be requesting Gabrielle to take care of our dogs on our next trip!”

“Tuongvi and Reinaldi are amazing! We had them come visit the girls ahead of a house sitting arrangement and the girls just love them. I know that we can now go on vacation without having to worry and that our girls will be in excellent hands.”

About: I have experience with animals since I could walk. In my personal life I would best describe my passion as a certified collector of strays (cats , dogs, birds and insects . The list is very long :) . In my professional experience I’m very exposed to the knowledge and unique design in caring for animals . STORY TIME : * ****I met a pit bull ****At the age of 17 I went to one of my first parties with my friend ( I was still very shy and reserved, but was looking to dismantle my comfort zone ). I had a bad time and unfortunately I was followed walking on my route and hoped to just make it back home in the same pieces that I came with lol . Anyways I approached a dark neighborhood on my path and only two streetlights worked and sarcastically I was excited to be walking under one the moment I locked eyes with THEE most Beautiful & intimidating Pit Bull I’d ever been blessed with eyes to see and a body to run that couldn’t move and was actually not breathing to well either 😅So I did what any rational human would in this situation and called her and told her to come here “sweetie” and she Bolted towards me … arms out stretched shaking in my wee lil boots I prayed lol and she jumped up on my shoulder and licked my face and I was at awe 🥹. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . I aspire to build my abundance in what I love and that’s more love the definition manifested in all creations especially ones with big beautiful baby eyes and youthful hearts Animals :) Hi I’m Ta Manda and I’m your PETS NEW BESTIE🦄❤️🎁!! ( so cheesy and I love it lol) I am currently invested in becoming independent, I am open to gaining more experience so other than Uber I’m all yours ❤️ please just reach out :) I love forming lasting bonds with the pets I care for and would be thrilled to stay connected and visit them even after my services are complete. I believe that doctor dolittle was inspired by Myself so honestly I do have conversations with them down to moths I believe they are listening and if you’re still enough you can tell they understand you .
About: Hi, this is Monika! I'm a DevOps Engineer by profession and a pet lover by passion. I work from home full-time, which means your furry friend won't be left alone-ever. During any Rover booking, I don't plan outings or time away. Your pet will have my full attention, care, and companionship all day long. I’m a proud pet parent. My two Shih Tzus are my whole world, and I know exactly how much your furry family means to you. That’s why when you trust me with your pup, I treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and genuine care. I work 100% remotely, which means your dog will get my full attention throughout the day. No rushing out the door. No leaving them alone for hours. Just all-day playtime, cuddles, potty breaks, and cozy companionship. I have a big, secure backyard where they can safely stretch their legs, sniff around, or enjoy a little sun—and if your pup loves walks, I’m happy to take them out for some fresh air and tail-wagging adventure. One thing I want you to know upfront—dogs are never crated here unless they’re already trained and prefer it that way. And they’ll never be left outside other than potty breaks. In fact, they’ll sleep right next to me, just like my own pups do—safe, warm, and snuggled up. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, even for a short while. That’s why I send regular photo and message updates, so you always know how they’re doing. You’ll see the joy on their faces, the comfort in their eyes, and feel at ease knowing they’re in a space filled with love and care. Many pet parents who’ve left their pups with me say it feels like a doggy resort—calm, clean, and full of affection. I keep my home spotless, not just because it matters to me, but because your pet deserves a safe, cozy, and hygienic environment. Here’s the thing—this isn’t just a side gig for me. It’s my passion. Every dog I welcome into my home becomes part of my heart. The time, energy, and love I give far exceed what you’ll ever see on a price tag. Because to me, this isn’t about money. It’s about making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and at home—even when they’re away from you. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d be honored to care for your pup like family. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine because I work remotely full-time as a DevOps Engineer. I’m home all day, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present for the pets I care for—whether that’s letting them out for potty breaks, giving belly rubs between meetings, or taking them for a walk when they need a break (just like I do!). My mornings usually start with feeding and playtime, followed by some outside time in my secure backyard. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks to check in with the pets—some cuddle time, a little fetch, or just hanging out together. Evenings are relaxed and cozy, with dinner, walks (if needed), and winding down together. At night, the pets sleep with me, so they’re never alone and always feel safe and loved. Whether it’s weekdays or weekends, my schedule is built to keep your pet happy, engaged, and cared for around the clock. I don’t take on anything else when I have a booking—your pet becomes my full priority At my home, pets have full access to a clean, cozy, and safe space. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
