About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.

She did extra little things that she didn’t have to do, as taking her for short walks and stayed extra time with her when she was feeling anxious, as our dog has high anxiety and Jenny made sure to keep her comfortable. I was very nervous about leaving my dog knowing her anxiety levels, but Jenny made it so smooth going and made me feel much better about it all! About: I love animals! I currently work at a Veterinary Clinic so i do have experience. I can give your pets medications if they need them. I can follow your instructions. I have volunteered at a doggy day care. I can provide lots of love and care for your pets. I do have 3 dogs of my own. They are all crate trained. Your pet does not need to interact with my pets if you do not want them to. They are very friendly though! They are all healthy and current on vaccines and very well trained. I would love to watch your babies! Crate trained dogs would be great but if they are not they must be potty trained. I am looking forward to this! I currently work full time at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant but have plenty of time on the weekends to help you out. My yard is 1 acre, currently not fenced in (working on that). But I would love to walk your dog or anything you possibly need I can help with!

About: I have a dog at home named Benji that I just adore. He is what keeps me going everyday. I would love to get to know some more. I'm currently working part time with split shifts and would like to fill up some of my free time between shifts. Any day of the week. I'm gentle, and kind. I will follow all of your instructions as needed. If you need me to feed, water, walk, etc I'm your gal.

About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! I believe in being able to read a dogs body language to make sure that they can be as comfortable as can be! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them sniff as much as they want for mental stimulation and to make sure they can be physically fit as much as possible. I’m currently working per diem at a nursing home. I’m looking to take up another job that I absolutely adore to fit into my schedule! I love to have a detailed list of the dogs needs and wants. I’m comfortable with crating animals and giving them positive rewards for good behavior! It’s all about positive reinforcement! I love to make sure your animal is as well taken care of as possible. I’m okay with using a few different tools for walking dogs as well.

About: I grew up with cats and my best friend had dogs. I would always help her take care of them and took care of cats as my best friends. When I met my fiancé he had a 5 year old beagle and I fell even more in love with dogs. My dream one day is to open a senior dog sanctuary, but until then, I will take care of my own dogs and help others care for theirs! Our pets are part of our families and they deserve the best treatment. I work from home with a consistent schedule and am available for walks and check ins after 3:30pm during the week and any time during the weekend. I have 2 small beagles who love all dogs and love to play. They will make great play mates and walk companions to keep your pooch company.

About: Hello! I’m Claudia Giallella and I’ve always loved caring for animals. In recent years, I have played and cared for chickens, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I love to send pictures and videos of your pets to show they are having fun and are happy while you are away! Caring for animals has always brought me so much joy and I love to meet new families that are in need for short or long term care for their pets! I am currently working part time at a hair salon, but am mainly focused on pet care. In my daily schedule I have plenty of time to do multiple stops a day to care and play with your pet(s)! I follow the instructions given and make sure I know exactly how you want your pet cared for. In addition to caring for your pet, I make sure the environment is tidy and clean prior to leaving each time.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 2020, when I got my first dog as a puppy. Since then, I’ve learned firsthand what it takes to raise, train, and care for a dog from a young age. I currently have two dogs and they’re a big part of my everyday life! I’m a senior in high school with no extracurriculars during this season, which makes my schedule very flexible. I also have my own transportation, so I’m reliable and easy to coordinate with! I take safety seriously and always make sure dogs are supervised and comfortable. About: Having worked as both a dog trainer and a pet care associate for PetSmart for 3+ years - as well as having always been a pet owner myself - I’ve learned a great deal about how to suit the needs of each and every pet and how to best communicate with them and accommodate their needs! As a teacher aide with summers off, I will have almost complete availability over summer. I am flexible and willing to work with you to figure out what will work best for I can comfortably handle different types of animals with my 2+ years of experience owning my own (cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, etc) and working with different species, as well as training dogs at my previous job as a PetSmart worker for 3+ years!

About: Whats better then to help other people out and be able to help take care of their fur babies! I used to have a chocolate lab. Currently me and my boyfriend have a black Lab named Tikka who is 8 years old now!! I am always going for runs/walks and love having a dog to bring with me! I work 10-6 Monday through Friday so I’m available in the Morning before 10 and after 6pm! Weekends I’m available as well, with restrictions only if I’m on call/work or have my army drill weekend.
