“Fiona is awesome and very accommodating. As an overprotective pet parent, she felt very trustworthy early on. Fiona kept us informed and sent lots of pics. Titan really likes her also and he ran right in when we dropped him off. I would 100% recommend Fiona to anyone looking for a sitter that gives the family experience to your furbaby!”

“Carla was wonderful with Finn! He has stayed with her twice now, and both experiences have been great. She made me feel completely comfortable, but most importantly Finn who is a bit clingy and needs lots of attention. Would definitely recommend Carla for anyone needing pet care :)”

“Tiffany is a top notch dog sitter. She continuously stayed in contact with me about Buddy and took numerous photos. My dog is used to being outside going for walks most of the day and Tiffany kept him busy. Having her care for my dog put me at ease leaving him, I’ve only had him for a short time so it was difficult for me to have someone I just met be responsible for him. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!”

“So thankful to have found someone for our Keira. Morgan responded quickly for a short notice weekend trip and was quick to respond to my inquiries while we were gone as to how Keira was doing. We usually use a local kennel but have found that she comes home sad. She needs a lot of human interaction. Without her pack, she gets lonely. She came home much happier this time. Morgan and her family obviously made Keira feel very at home.”

“Daniel watched our one and a half year old cockapoo for a long weekend. Our pup had a great time. Daniel sent daily updates and took him for walks. There is a fenced in yard which was great too! We will definitely book again for future trips.”

“Sujanna was great to Sidney and great to work with!! She sent multiple updates and pictures every day. I could tell that Sidney was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Sujanna as a dog sitter and look forward to using her again.”

“I can’t thank Carol enough for taking such great care of my fur baby while I was away!! He was very comfortable staying with her and was definitely pampered. I only hope she’s available to watch him any time I need to leave town.”

About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. If I am providing care in my home, I can offer to take dogs for a walk in a nearby state park. I try to keep the pets' feeding and walking schedules consistent with that of the owners.
“Special thanks to Ken & Irene for giving us piece of mind and taking care of our dog, Twix, when we were on vacay. Twix was in good company and he was well taken care of. We especially enjoyed the texts and pics. We would definitely recommend Ken & Irene.”

“We recently rescued 2 fluffy Frenchies, and after only having them for 4 months, one of my Frenchies is always shaking when meeting new people or when she goes outside . We had to use Sandra and her husband to watch our fluffy friends for almost 2 weeks. They came back to us chunky, happy, and my puppy no longer shakes when meeting new people and is now the first to go outside. They did such a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them to watch your babies.”

“Alexis took great care of our dogs and provided regular updates. She was thoughtful, accommodating, and considerate with all of our plans. Would absolutely recommend her and would definitely book with her again!”

“Max had a great time at Cristina as we picked up a very happy dog. Max is living in Cristina's family as a part of the family with the other two dogs. During the visit she is sending pictures of Max which gives you a very comfortable feeling that he has a good time. We highly recommend Cristina.”

“Melissa did such an amazing job taking care of my dog Melo. I went away for the weekend and was able to book with her a week before. She introduced my dog to her other animals for the first time and I think he was so happy to have other furry friends for the weekend. Melissa was super clear and communicative throughout. I loved seeing the photos and videos every few hours so I always felt like melo was in good hands. She also had a print out award and treat for Melo after his stay which was so sweet. Thanks again Melissa for watching Melo :)”

“This was the first time our 2 girls Juniper and Honey have ever stayed overnight anywhere since we rescued them 5 years ago. We felt confident having Carolina watching our girls. Prior to their stay we did a meet and greet. Carolina has a very calm demeanor, and we were very confident that the girls would be comfortable in her home. She sent us pictures and gave us updates of how they were doing, which was nice. When we picked them up they were very happy, so we'll definitely be using her services again.”

“Debra is so awesome, made our pup feel right at home! We will definitely be using her again in the future when we go out of town. Our pup even slept on their bed like he does at home.??”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
