“I requested Deann late at night, the day before and she was able to accommodate an early check in and late check out while in town for a visit day at VMCVM. Alice came back happy and seemed to have enjoyed her day with Deann. I highly recommend !!”

“Holly is the BEST. Tuesdays are now Poncho's (and my) favorite day of the week. He has the time of his life running around the yard and playing with other pups, and is exhausted by the time I pick him up- which every puppy owner knows is the BEST feeling ever. Holly is so communicative, sends the cutest pics, and I always know Poncho is safe and spoiled with her. You need to book with her!”

“She took great care of my pup, sent me pictures, and made sure that my anxious puppy was comfortable. She is the sweetest woman I’ve met and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Greg and Corrie were absolutely phenomenal caretakers for our Vizsla puppy. They made the experience so enjoyable and gave us peace of mind throughout the day. Our pup Henri had an absolute blast staying with this family. I’m sure he can’t wait to go back and visit next time. You are in the safest hands with these two. We highly recommend.”

About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

“Emily and her family are wonderful! They welcomed my old lad, Major, and genuinely seemed to care about him as they do their own pup. Emily sent photos of Major getting settled in and spending time with the fam and was very communicative. I continue to trust Emily with Major's care while I'm at the office, knowing he's in great, capable hands 😊”

“It was a pleasure meeting Madison and her great family. She was a lifesaver taking care of our dog. Our dog was spoiled. I would highly recommend Madison for any pet sitting needs.”

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I offer experienced and loving care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having a 3-year-old dog myself, I understand the importance of a comfortable and social environment. I also have experience caring for dogs with specific needs, such as allergies, blindness, and complex medication schedules. My goal is to make your dog feel completely at home and well cared for during their stay. I work remotely, so I am home most of the day. I can adhere to your feeding and medication schedule. I also love taking dogs out for pup cups or excursions to dog-friendly stores (with owner permission). For holiday periods, a minimum booking of 3 nights is required. Thank you for your understanding. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly lab/heeler mix. Dogs have free roam of my home. I also have a comfortable crate if they are crate trained.

“Alexandria was AMAZING!!!! I can not say enough wonderful things about her from our initial communication to just how thoughtful she was during our dog Mochi’s stay with her. She was very keen to understand not just Mochi’s needs but asked great questions to put us owners at ease and to ensure that our pup was in great hands while we were away. We were also updates wirh multiple pictures and updates ensuring us that everything was alright. Mochi can sometimes be weary around other dogs and Alexandria was willing to work with us to ensure that both her pup Yoshi and Mochi were both safe and comfortable. (Ultimately, they got along great!) I can not recommend Alexandria enough if you are looking for someone that will look after your fur baby as if they were her own! She is truly FANTASTIC!”

About: I am a big believer that humans need dogs as much as dogs need humans and I would love to be that human for your dog! I am currently a student at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a Masters degree in Biomedical science. I have classes during the week from 8-12, but spend every minute after class home in my apartment with the exception of an hour break to go to the gym. On the weekends i am often studying, so I will be home at all times. I have a small one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room for a dog to have free range. I allow dogs on the furniture and bed so that is no issue. There is plenty of room for a crate, which i would prefer if I am leaving the dog alone while I am at class. There is an excellent 2 mile walking trail around my complex that I do daily and would love to take your dog as my companion!

About: I'm diligent, conscientious, and careful when caring for dogs. I have a large fenced yard, and I'm home nearly all day, every day, so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to play and feel safe. I have a large fenced yard and am home all day, most every day, so I’m free to focus fully on your pet’s needs and give you frequent updates as requested. I'm diligent, conscientious, and careful with dogs. I have a large fenced yard and am home most of the time, so your pet gets plenty of attention and care. I can easily crate your dog if needed for safety or routine.

About: I like to take a supervised yet hands-off approach to watching over dogs. That is, letting dogs be their curious and playful selves while making sure they're safe and well taken care of. I've owned dogs my whole life (breeds including portuguese water dog, rottweilers, maltese/poodle mix, terrier mix, schnauzer/poodle mix, and a german shepherd currently) and find that they are happier and better behaved when given freedom to explore and lead rather than be expected to remain obedient and tame at all times. Some pups need more structure and thrive on a little more rigidity though, and I am very capable of meeting whatever their needs are and sticking to what you know is best for their personality. I am easily swooned by all kinds of dogs but am not one to let them use their good looks and charm to get the best of me. I am mostly just excited to hang out with as many of these guys as I can! I do want to be transparent that I work regular hours Mon - Fri, so I cannot stay with your pups 24/7 during the week. That being said, lunch time bathroom breaks are a guarantee! Walks in the morning and in the evening, and a quick potty break in the afternoon! I do have a day job, but your sweet pup will always be my first priority. I have a large backyard and live just a few short minutes from the Huckleberry Trail 🙂 I also have a spacious yard where your furry friend can roam free!

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for. I prioritize safety by keeping a clean, pet-friendly environment and following each pet’s routine closely. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure secure spaces, constant supervision, and lots of love and attention to build trust and keep your pet comfortable.

My experience at a professional boarding facility further reinforced my passion for providing personalized, attentive care through home-based pet services. I recently worked as a groomer's apprentice, but I’m currently studying to become a certified dog obedience trainer, which will expand my ability to support your furry family members. I’ve loved every moment of my past four years on Rover, from meeting incredible families to caring for pets of all types and personalities. 🐾As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m here to help whenever you need a trusted sitter! To ensure a balanced schedule for both my family and the pets in my care, my phone is silenced between 10 PM and 8 AM. During this time, I may not respond immediately, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding! 🐾About my home: Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities! For less social pets, I will ensure a calm and comfortable environment tailored to their needs. While my new home doesn’t have a fenced yard, I’ve adjusted by providing supervised outdoor time with 15-foot leads in my spacious backyard.
