About: Hi there! I'm new to Rover, but have been housesitting regularly since December 2024. I've had the opportunity to pet sit in Australia and throughout New Zealand with dogs and cats of various breeds and ages. I have also looked after fish and chickens. My experience ranges from caring for young puppies and kittens to older animals with health issues, including pets with arthritis, heart issues, IBD, and asmtha. I'm very diligent about managing any medication or supplements required. In the past, I've had two dogs as my own pets. One was a miniature schnauzer and the other was a mixed breed rescue. Throughout the years, I've pet sat for friends and family as well. I always love getting to know new animals and enjoy taking care of a home and any plants you may have. :) I work remotely and have a fairly flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time to stay in with your pets and make sure they are cared for and happy. *Currently, I am fully booked for housesitting until the beginning of February. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.
