About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and truly love what I do. I’m reliable, attentive, and always eager to provide quality care for your pet. I currently have two dogs and several cats, and I’ve also had experience with fish, rodents, and reptiles—so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of animals and their unique needs. I’ve owned and cared for pets my entire life, and I’m passionate about providing reliable, loving care for all animals. I currently have two dogs and several cats, and I’ve previously cared for fish, reptiles, and rodents. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I recently wrapped up my school-year position with the Escanaba School District, which means I’m now home full-time for the summer and have completely open availability until the last week of August. I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and needs, whether it’s regular check-ins, walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I treat every animal I care for like my own, and I look forward to meeting yours! I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a secure tether/leash system that works well for supervised potty breaks. Dogs in my care are never left outside alone, and I take them on regular walks every 1.5–2 hours for exercise and enrichment. My home is spacious and pet-friendly with lots of room to play indoors as well.

“Nicole is awesome! We couldn’t ask for anybody better to get our two boys out and about during weekdays.”

“Jayson was very quick with communication, easy to work with and I get confident in his services. We were in the area on vacation and he came to our campground and walked our 3 dogs while we were out doing tourist stuff. I would certainly recommend him!”

“Brett was great with Cleo. I would likely seek their services out again!”

“Bethanne always does such an amazing job walking my dog. She always captures the best photos and is very compassionate with the animal and is considerate with using the whole time to walk my dog. Thank you!!”

About: I know that a pet misses its family when they are away. They should be treated as if they are being cared for by a nannny, just like children are. I love to spend time with them by playing, walking, taking a car ride to the park, or just petting/brushing. I am employed by the Escanaba school system so I only work the days school is in session and have mostly a free summer. I am done at school by 3:30 and have most evenings and weekends free. I am able to spend the night (or longer) in your home if that is what you need. I have just relocated back to Escanaba to be near family. My new housing does not allow me to have pets in my home and I am missing the love that pets freely give. Taking good care of your family pet will be of benefit to us both…you will dependable care that you can trust and I can get my playtime, exercise, and snuggles!

“Ryan was super kind, flexible, and considerate toward my senior dog Dayton and me, as our plans changed several times and needed to be adapted to. Highly recommended!!!”

“I have a wonderful husky/Akita/elkhound who just passed his second birthday, and two elderly old bully mixes. Due to some unexpected health issues, my wife and I have had multiple instances of short term notice travel, as well as one planned vacation, of a week. After having Jeff watch my fur babies (the younger being rather enthusiastic by nature) I wouldn't trust the job to anybody else with the task. He's kind to all of our animals brings the pup home for overnights (which he Even got a teddy bear from) and everyone is always healthy and happy upon return. If you need someone to care for your fur babies on your absence, look no further!”

Heather B.
“Heather came and checked on my Greta while we were out of town. Greta is a 5 month old kitten with a severe heart problem. She has to have medicine twice a day and she hates to be alone! Medicine and her need to be around us had me a nervous wreck to leave her. I had messaged Heather before I knew she worked at PVSEC and before I knew the severity of Greta's condition. We had a trip planned way before we adopted Greta and I needed to line someone up to take care of her for a few days. I told her we were coming in with Greta to see the cardiologist because our vet was really worried about her heart which had me terrified of losing her and leaving her later in the month. Heather made it a point to go by and check on Greta during her shift the next day. She sent me pictures of Greta to show me she was okay. Obviously, I had to book Heather. She was so wonderful. She kept me posted on everything. She knew what warning signs to look for in regards to Greta's heart and she gave Greta so much love. When I was extra worried a couple times, she went right over to check on Greta for me. I knew Greta was a priority for Heather. I truly cannot put into words how great she is. If I have to leave my baby again, I want Heather to take care of her.”
