I also had a dog named Toby, who I loved deeply and took on daily walks. He recently passed away, and caring for him throughout his life gave me a strong appreciation for how important consistency, patience, and gentle care are for pets. In the summer, I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m generally available throughout the day for walks and drop-in visits. I’m able to plan my time around bookings and be consistent once I commit to something. I also like being active and outside, so pet care fits really naturally into my summer routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions provided. I make sure the pet feels comfortable and secure by keeping their environment consistent and minimizing stress. For dog walking or drop-in visits, I focus on safety first. That includes using proper leash control, paying attention to the dog’s behavior, and making sure they get both exercise and care. I also communicate with the owner as needed so they feel updated and reassured.

About: Growing up we’ve always had dogs in our house and I’ve always been around dogs. I’ve cared for dogs in middle school and always kept their care up to the owners standards. I’m currently a full time student at Bay and am at school for no longer than four hours at a time. This leaves me plenty of time throughout the day to care for your pets. I’m also a single parent to a little boy so I do not do overnight stays. I will keep your pet’s care up to your standards as if you were caring for them. They will be exercised properly, taken outside and given plenty of attention while you are away. I have two friendly dogs if your pet needs some company also.

About: I have owned pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, a snake-who is still with us. I currently have a golden retriever named Oakley. My grand dog, Moose also lives with us. He is a blood hound. Roz the ball python. We recently lost our beloved tuxedo cat at 20 years old. His name was Odie. I have owned high energy dogs-3 huskies, including one that was deaf towards the end of his life. Our pets are family, they are just furry humans! I currently work full time from home and I walk everyday. I would love to include your dog on my walks. I can also be available for check-ins and potty breaks if unable to walk d/t inclement weather. I have a large yard for running off leash or on an e-collar as well as a fenced area. Your pets will never be left unattended or unsupervised. Pets are family and are allowed to roam freely in our home. I can also crate your pet as desired for sleeping or if we have to leave the house briefly.
