I will offer that service again soon!* After a brief break due to adjusting to a new, full-time job, I’m back to doing what I love: caring for your furry family members! With 50+ 5-star reviews and years of experience, I’m here to offer dependable, loving care again. I've had pets of my own my entire life and have cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors for years! I love being around animals and have 3 babies of my own. I'll love your best friend as much as I love my own! I am reliable, punctual, and energetic and always willing to do what I can to help out! I have an anxious, aggressive, and arthritic Chihuahua of my own, so I have experience with more "neurotic" pets as well as experience with medication. One of my cats is 13 years old, so I also have experience with senior care (as well as cat medication, too!). I also recently adopted a guinea pig and am getting a second one very soon, so have experience with “exotic” animals as well! I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.

About: Love, caring and fun!!! My favorite thing to do is go on walks in the fresh air with dogs. I have always had a dog with breeds all over the map. My favorite breed is a husky but still love my Yorkshire terriors. 26 years of dog care. It is a pleasure having a dog to always rely on to make your day great. About: Experience with caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I have a passion for special needs, sick and elderly pets. While not in class I would love to watch your pet(s) and care for them. I recently moved from Chicago to Macomb to pursue school. I have a love for outdoors! Hiking and enjoying trails is one of my favorite hobbies I would love to include your furry friend on! I am a nurse part time and pre-medicine student. My husband, Carlos, works from home and is an even bigger pet lover than myself! My work schedule is “as needed” meaning I make my own schedule, making me flexible for pet parents! My job is also less than a mile from home making me available almost at all times! I have a very spacious one bedroom apartment. I have been told by HVAC and Xfinity people that it is the nicest, largest, one in Macomb. There are also plenty of parks and trails nearby for when your furry friend is ready to explore. I am a home body most days, but of course when the weather is nice that changes! I love to be outdoors. I work part time, while my husband works from home full time. I make my work schedule and can build it around clients needs. I also work a few minutes away allowing me to be home on breaks if need be! I believe in following the rules the pet parents set! This helps decrease anxiety for the pet! I respect all the rules and expectations set by the pet parent as they are in charge at the end of the day!
