We truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience. Michelle gave us peace of mind by providing daily pics of our dog playing & going on walks. We came home & knew he was well taken care of. We will be recommending her to friends & family. Thanks again Michelle for taking great care of Milo. 💙

Jessica is genuinely a dog lover. Always greeted my dog with a warm welcome. Jessica showed up on time, and was very communicative throughout the booking. Communication was great. Jessica switched up the route she took my dog on daily to ensure he didn’t get tired of the same walk.

About: I've pet and house sat for friends and family since I was 15 and have experience with every size and age of dog and cat. I have experience with giving animals any special medication or any other needs that they may require. ☺️ I only have one class at school per week so I am pretty available for any schedule that your pet may need. I am happy to work with your pets needs in any way! My previous clients usually needed me for house sitting as well as pet sitting so I have no problem staying over night or just dropping in on your pets throughout the day. I am very keen on following your pets schedule! Routine is key!

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from playful puppies to calm seniors. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, giving medication, or spending some quality play time, I am attentive to every pet's unique needs. My goal is always to ensure every dog feels safe loved, and well cared for. As a college student currently on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your pet(s), whether that means staying with them all day or providing frequent visits. I'm happy to tailor my care to fit your pet's routine and needs, making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you're away. When I dog or cat sit at your home, I make sure to keep your pet safe and comfortable by sticking to their routine. I will always be respectful of your space and will keep things clean and tidy. I also like to keep you updated so you know how your furry friend(s) is doing while you're away!

About: Animals truly have a special place in my heart. I've been the designated "pet sitter" for friends and family for as long as I can remember and I would love to meet some new fur babies! I've had dogs and cats all my life and I spent the summer volunteering at an animal shelter, so I understand how to work with animals and different personality types. Anxious or not, I got you! I love taking them on walks, bringing homemade or store-bought treats (with parent permission of course), and going to the dog park! They will be spoiled around here, trust me. Thank you for considering me! I’m currently self employed, so I have lots of free time to spend with your pets! If you let me know at least a couple days in advance, I can be there! My number 1 priority is your pets comfort, I will always do my best to make sure they are taken care of. I am also very competent and can follow any instructions regarding your pets diet, schedule, and/or behavior.

About: I’m known for my patience, how much I care, and responsibility. My experience helping seniors, coaching figure skating children, and pet sitting has taught me empathy, reliability, and how to earn animals’ trust! My goal is to show your pet all the love and attention (that they will allow me to) in the time we have! I’m a college student, my schedule is often free when I am not marked as away in pullman. I’m especially free on afternoons and weekends, making it easy to give pets consistent love and attention. I strive to make every pet feel safe and loved by following their routine, giving them plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles, and keeping their space clean and comfortable for them to enjoy.

About: Hi I’m Haley, a college student looking to relax and hangout with the help of some furry friends! Dogs are a girls best friend, especially for this girl. Your pet will love spending time with someone as energetic as me! My best friend (Teddy the Yorkie) said so. I’m currently attending college but can balance between my schedule and your pets as well! I’ve got experience with all breeds and enjoy when I get to meet new ones! I’ve got a fenced backyard and two yorkie terriers, one is mine and is the sweetest boy alongside my sisters. He loves new friends! Never once had an issue with dogs in my care, I take care of my own dog who is happy and healthy and would treat anyone else’s exactly like my own, with love and care always.

About: I have always had dogs around and I enjoy being with them as much as they enjoy being with me! I always loved getting to dog sit when I was younger, and I have always wanted a job where I could spend my time with dogs. Friends and family have relied on me for sitting new puppies and their life long friends. Going outside and getting the dogs exercise is so important to me. I have experienced dogs with anxiety and I know how to work with them as well. I believe dogs are just as important as people and should be treated just the same, with love, care and respect. Your pet should always feel comfortable and safe, and I will ensure they feel that way. They are the most important thing to me. I have never experienced dog sitting as a real job, but I cannot wait to start this journey! I’m currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with some pups! My schedule varies week to week, but I will have availability on weekends and throughout the week! I live in an apartment so at the clients home is preferred. There are plenty of parks and little neighborhoods near that we can adventure to as well!

About: We strive to maintain a consistent weekly routine that balances our personal schedules with the needs of our dogs. Their care is an important part of our day-to-day life, so we make time for regular physical exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of breaks. We also ensure they have consistent feeding times, along with occasional treats to keep things both structured and enjoyable for them. My husband and I both work full-time; however, we provide dependable care with quality morning check-ins, occasional midday visits as needed, and attentive afternoon care during weekdays. In the evenings, we tailor care to your dog’s needs—whether that means going out for walks and playtime or enjoying a more relaxed, calm environment at home. On weekends, we are available for full-day care, with the exception of Sunday mornings due to church commitments (feel free to ask for specific time frames). 😊 Boarding in our home may become available after the summer, though this is currently tentative. At this time, we care exclusively for dogs and are committed to making sure they have a fun, safe, and engaging experience. Our friendly and energetic pup loves to play and is always excited to meet new friends! 😁 We provide a safe, comfortable, and structured environment for pets in our home. We have a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, and inside, we use dog gates to help manage space as needed. We are also able to crate dogs if that is part of their normal routine. My husband and I are very hands-on with care and treat every pet like part of our family—making sure they receive attention, supervision, exercise, and plenty of affection throughout the day.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, my mother and I had ran a rescue up until four years ago and even then we still took in animals to help Fuzzball animal rescue, I love taking care of animals and have my entire life from rescues to my own animals! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups, and kitties. I enter college in the fall and know my schedule will still allow for me to take care of animals so if you are looking for maybe even a permanent dog walker, pet sitter or anything I am available! My house has always had animals, from cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, cows, dogs, chinchillas, and at once our most amount of rescues we had was 104 Guinea pigs, and getting them adopted was my favorite part, to see them all go to loving homes.

About: Very familiar with feeding pets and putting out fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, vacuuming up pet hair, notifying owners of any injuries or sickness and keeping them updated on their pet as well as their home. I also can clean your house, wash dishes, water plants and collect owners mail if needed. What sets me apart from my peers is I am very reliable, flexible and trustworthy. I currently just resigned from Olive Garden as a server due to having a baby and staying home to care for the kiddos and doggy’s. My customer service, communication and empathy is very accurate. I have a high attention to detail and being a mom of an almost 11 year old and now a newborn, I have learned to be very patient. I love being outdoors as well. Also, I am very practical. I understand that life happens, and I have learned to accept what I cannot control. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine. I start my mornings early with feeding, walks, and playtime to make sure pets start their day happy and comfortable. Throughout the day, I plan breaks for walks, potty time, and one-on-one attention so pets never feel lonely. Evenings usually include another walk, dinner, and cuddle time before winding down for the night. I make sure pet care is consistent and reliable, and I adjust to each animal’s unique needs—whether that’s sticking to a strict schedule, providing extra playtime, or offering quiet companionship. Pets aren’t just a task in my day—they’re part of my daily life. I have two dogs of my own, a black lab and pitbull/boxer mix. Having two very different breeds of dogs have taught me numerous ways to keep each one busy and active.

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
