About: I am passionate about connecting with animals, people, new places on the Earth! I've been housesitting, farming and studying herbalism and health coaching for over 15 years, and I am a verified/vetted 5-star sitter on another international pet-sitting site. I have also worked as a trained naturalist/wildlife guide and vet tech, and have extensive training in the biology, care, track and sign of mammals. About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

About: Hi! My name is Madeline and I have been pet sitting my whole life and treat every animal like a family member. Dogs have always had a very special place in my heart and being able to work with dogs all the time is a dream. I love hiking/going to the park and would love the company or just a good game of fetch in the backyard. I have yet to meet a dog I didn't fall in love with. I have fostered a plethora of dogs myself and feel very comfrtable with any type of dog. My communication is direct and clear and I consider myself a highly reliable individual. I would love to get the chance to meet your four-legged best friend and treat them like one of my own! I work in big sky, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I can even bring your dog to work if you want!. If you let me know your needs I will do my best to accommodate them I am a very outgoing human that loves outdoor activity so your pet will be exercised if needed or just brought outside to sit at the park and accompany me. Depending on what your furry friend is looking for i will do my best to accommodate it. From waking up early and taking them on a walk to leaving work mid day to take them on a walk to late night exercise, I want to make sure your dog feels comfortable I live out on a ranch, so there is plenty of room for running around all. I am also a big back country skier so if you feel comfortable letting me take your dog skiing, I would do that as well but if your dog just needs a walk around the neighborhood. I can also do that.

About: 5 months of volunteer experience in a private shelter in Romania, taking care of 80+ dogs at any given time. Recently adopted one of the dogs from the shelter. Dogs and cats have always been present in my family. On M/W/F, at 8AM-2:30PM, I attend massage school in Portland. On the days I go to school, I do have periods of time, early morning and early evening, to check on your fur babies. Aside from that, my free days, Tue/Thur/Sat/Sun, are fully open for whatever frequency is needed to check on your animals. I have a fenced yard with two dogs that are social. Occasionally there is a cat present. I’m fully comfortable taking your dogs on walks, playing with them, or just sitting and keeping them company.

About: I have had pups all my life, of many different shapes and sizes. I have lots of experience caring for elderly pups as well training puppies. I am comfortable with big dogs as much as I am little ones. I recently lost my dog of 20 long, happy puppy years, and am eager to put all the extra love I have to give into your pup. I have trained countless dogs to walk well on leash, if that’s something you need help with. I am also comfortable with big off leash (or on) hikes, if that’s what your pup prefers. I have a 90 lb bernedoodle puppy at home who delights in off leash adventures. If your dog needs socializing, we could all go together! I work part time and attend graduate school remotely, so I’m able to spend ample time with your beloved pets! My husband stays home with our dogs when I’m pet sitting, so not much need to leave once I’m there. I am very cognizant of escape artists and all sorts of mischievous puppies and kitties. I am very communicative with all of my clients; I’ll send pics and texts or calls if you prefer several times a day (unless you’d rather be left alone!)

About: My family and I always had dogs and cats, even bunnies! I love animals and taking care of your babies would be an honor. I also have experience dog sitting for my friends. I am a preschool teacher but I’m hoping to fill my days off taking great care of your pets. I’m looking for house sitting and dog walking opportunities. Caring for pets in your home or a client’s home depends on the type of service you provide (pet sitting, dog walking, boarding, etc.), but the goal is always to keep the pet safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine.
