About: I have been caring for animals since the age of 11! My neighbors, friends, and family have entrusted me with their dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and even the occasional chickens. I treat your pets like family! I am a homemaker. I am able to devote all my time to caring for your pets. Your pet will always be able to rely on me. I live in a house in rural Litchfield. We have plenty of areas for all the walks! Also, a picture window so we can sit together and watch the outdoors.

About: My animal care background is substantial. Currently, I walk dogs and provide dog enrichment by working on behavior modification dogs at the Humane Society of Missouri. There I am certified in fear free shelter work. Prior to this, I took care of a variety of animals at an AZA accredited zoo. I also had my own personal dog for over 15 years. I am comfortable and skilled in dog walking, diet preparation, and being a canine companion. Contact me and I’d love to fit your pet into my day. I treat them like my own and can set up a schedule so they are properly cared for. I am currently available for three walks a day. If you need more, please feel free to discuss. My max walk or visit vision is a morning, mid day, and evening. If your furry friend needs only one walk or break a day, let me know and we can make it work! Happy to see what works for the safety and care of your pet. I want to learn what works best for your pet to avoid any break in routine or causing unnecessary stress. “Catelyn stepped in to walk my dog, Princeton Antonio, for a few mornings while our regular walker was away and she made a wonderful impression in such a short time! She was communicative, punctual, and kind, and she treated Princeton with such care and attentiveness. On her last day, she even left a thoughtful thank-you card, which speaks volumes about the kind of person (and professional) she is. Though our time together was brief, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind-hearted dog walker.”

The median cost per walk for dog walking in Gillespie is $18

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
