About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for 5 years and an animal shelter for 2 years. I have a range of knowledge about different breeds, sizes, behaviors, etc. and have had much practice with my own dogs and cats as well. I am an animal lover and have also owned rabbits, lizards, and fish. I am very familiar with different types of animals and the care that is needed. I treat every dog and client with respect and can provide a very entertaining environment for your furry friend. I am very familiar with giving medications and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I hope to be able to become friends with your pet and give them lots of love and affection! I currently have an open schedule and am available on majority of all the days of the week and am fairly flexible. I can come by and stay over when needed I am willing to provide long walks or take the dog out to walk at a park. About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.

About: Growing up, I have always had pets in my home. I have had a few adopted dogs for which the breed is unknown, a black lab, a golden retriever, cats and even a bearded dragon lizard! With owning pets your whole life, you often gain experience in senior dog care. This is something I have sadly experienced and can attend to. My most recent puppy with my boyfriend is a german short haired pointer, who just turned 1 year! This means I have extensive training experience with puppies, and trust me, he was a vicious little guy! I pride myself in gentle care and positive reinforcement to train. I am currently working part time as a CNA at a hospital! This means I work 8 hour shifts some days but with proper planning I can be with your fur babies right before and right after any shifts! Sometimes I may even be off the days you need(: Pet care is always a thought in my head so I am familiar with how to fit life in around the animals! I will practice care with your fur baby in their home where they have all there necessities and belongings to make them feel the most safe and comfortable while you are away! I love to provide play time outside with toys or just hangout on the couch for some down time with your fur baby. I am there for them and whatever they are used to, so any details into their life is great!

About: Ive taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I currently have a 5 & 6 year old golden retriever and lab. I have a huge fenced backyard and do have two littles in my house. About: I'm the owner of Powhatan Paws Pet Sitting and have 5-star reviews and very happy customers. I love working with animals and will love them. I own a home pet-sitting business and will have kennel assistants working at my facility while I schedule and visit dogs I plan to walk. I will enter the pet owner's home and give the dog time to greet me. Then harness the dog and head outside with the main focus of doing their business. Pick up poop in a poop bag and dispose of it in the owner's can. When the dog goes potty, I always give a small treat. The walk will be for 30 minutes or a bit longer if the dog doesn't poop. When we get back home, the harness will be put back where it came from, and the dog will get a hug, kiss and a treat.

About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.

About: I have been taking care of and walking dogs of all kinds since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and understand the responsibility of caring for an adult dog and a puppy. I have also worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility, as well as a local dog trainer where I was responsible for feeding, medicating, exercising, and playing with dogs of all sizes and ages. I take my job seriously and will care for your pet like it is my own! About: I have always loved animals since I was a little girl, and I am always looking for ways to spend more time with them in my freetime. I am a college student home for the summer available 7 days a week! I have a job during the day from about 10am 4 pm, but can visit before and after and during the late nights. I spend a lot of time with my dog Reese, and would always respect the homes of my clients and make sure they are comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! Plus, I’m really looking forward to all the pet snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too! I do highly recommend a meet & greet ahead of time so we can meet pet parents and also meet dog(s)! Let’s them see me and hopefully remember me and feel comfortable with me in their house!
