About: Hi! We are Kayla and Austin! My partner and I have Been around many animals especially dogs, our entire life. I (Kayla) Have my grooming license and have dog sit, helped with rescues and administration of medications, physical therapy ect. Offer enrichment and lots of space to run and play! **FYI** if anyone is uncomfortable boarding at my home because we have dogs, we are more than happy, and capable of keeping your pet completely separate while still giving them a positive experience with plenty of space and love. Update 08/13/25 Just to be EXTRA cautious, unless you request otherwise, we will be keeping our dogs separate at all times. I currently have an open schedule so will build and work around everyone as I go. Working on building a great efficient and FUN routine! I have a fully fenced in back yard to play in and lots of toys and enrichment stuff to do while here, can also bring enrichment to other homes. Also can do baths, nails, ears, brushing..anything dog, I'm in!

About: We have always had pets in the home since I was young as well as many family members with dogs that we saw and interacted with often. I am accustomed to big dog breeds as well as smaller breeds. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and am home most days. I can be very flexible with scheduling as I am not working around a work schedule. I have a fenced in yard and currently no pets at home. I can provide food/water bowls as well as toys for your furry friend.

About: I have worked professionally for over 10 years in the animal industry, focusing on animal care and training. I was a dog trainer instructor for 5 years, and have worked with over 50 breeds of dogs of varying ages and obedience levels. I have also worked as a zookeeper for 5 years, and provided a high level of accredited care to all types of animals. Unfortunately my health has taken a turn for the worse this past year, and I can no longer sustain a healthy work life balance at the place I work at. I am very saddened by it, but I hope you will allow me to provide the quality and level of care I aspire to on a smaller and more personalized level. I am currently part time and in transition to another career path, working the late morning into early afternoon for only four hours a day. As such I can accommodate early mornings and late evening tasks, such as a walk or feeding or check in. I can not do house sits since I still have a small zoo of my own at home. boarding at my houses will be extremely case by case as the animals that live with me permanently come first. If your animal poses any risk to their safety, I will have to decline. I have made it work in the past with medium sized dogs, but they must be well trained and have little anxiety when being left alone. Crate trained is not a must, but is preferred.

Travis 🐾 I have had the pleasure of growing up on a farm surrounded by around animals my entire life. My family has owned many gorgeous retrievers that I fell in love with and took care of. I’d be in charge of walking, letting them out or dog sat for the weekend once I was older. Growing up this way has been a positive learning experience that lead me to be a great dog owner. 10 years ago I adopted Sadie, my first baby. She’s a beautiful lab mix. I have learned so much in the last decade about training dogs. I’ve taken puppy training class and still use a lot of that knowledge till this day. Sadie is extremely well trained and if I could I would 100% be a dog trainer. I’m not a dog whisperer but I definitely have a good understanding of how to handle pups and adult dogs. Dogs are easily my main love, but all animals have a special place in my heart. I value the connection and constant love they show towards their owners. I treat my dog like my daughter and would love to have have more one day. It would be a pleasure to care after your family member. I work full time M-F, with the ability to stop at home during the day. Also my wife is home most Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. So we work together to let the dogs out at appropriate time and keep them on their feeding schedule. Weekends are fun times with plenty walking, hikes, swimming, and dog parks if the owner is comfortable with us doing so. We go for two to 3 walks a day with our playful lab pups. We always have dogs on leash, and we have multiple kennels for our dogs if needed.

About: **Note right now I do travel from north of Milwaukee, to Door County from Lake Michigan to Wisconsin Rapids area. I was born and raised with St Bernard’s, Irish Setters and miniature poodles as well mutts, ducks, cats, birds etc. I have continued to have pets in my life through my adulthood. The last of my pack of 5 has now past away. I love dogs so much I volunteer in the pet community and have a non profit to help educate, maintain and build off leash dog parks. Responsible pet ownership is very important to me. I usually know what I have to be in front of the computer for at least a week in advance and work around where I need to be and when. Because I work remotely I am able to stay with your pet. If they want to play, or snuggle or just know someone is there. I am flexible. I work remotely the majority of the time giving me the opportunity to be with your pets the majority of the time. I also limit the amount of other families I care for at one time, so I can give more of my attention to your family. I follow your rules, or example allowing them or not on furniture, specific snacks, or okay time routines. If you allow I’d love to snuggle with them through the night in bed with me.
