“Jackie was amazing looking after my dog! She and her family treated my dog like he was part of the family! Jackie was very easy to work with, very professional, and it’s easy to tell she has a passion for animals! I will definitely be using her services again!”

“Highly recommend!! Great place to take your pup! Marla's home is great inside and out! She has a huge fenced in yard, great for running and exploring and there is also a walking trail, that runs behind her house. Inside the main floor is a perfect set up to keep your dog safe, but still allows your pup to roam. Marla's dog, Shadow, is so sweet and very well behaved, which speaks volumes in her doggy parenting style! Another bonus to mention, is her 4 loving children! They help keep my little guy busy and show him so much love! He absolutely loves going to Marla's house! I'm so glad, I found Marla!”

“Brooke and Jeremy were amazing for doggy daycare. They were incredibly accommodating with my early work hours, which made everything so much easier for me. My pup tends to be pretty anxious, but they handled him with so much care and patience-it really gave me peace of mind. I truly appreciate the attention and effort they put into making him comfortable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.”

“Absolutely awesome. I can not recommend Wendy & Daniel enough. They swooped in on a pinch last minute & saved the day. They were incredible with my pup Lou & he was right at home. Can’t wait for Lou to hang with them again!! 🤍🤍🤍 Thank You So Much, couldn’t be happy. It was a breeze & perfect”

“We are so grateful to Michael and Perla for providing such wonderful care during our pup’s first two days of doggy daycare. As a first-time dog owner without family nearby, I was feeling quite anxious, but Michael reassured me every step of the way and kept me updated. His care and communication gave me such peace of mind. I’ve already noticed positive changes—our pup now plays more confidently and independently in the garden. We’re truly looking forward to many more daycare and boarding stays in the months ahead. There’s simply no better family to trust with your dog’s care!”

“Janette was incredibly accommodating with my last‑minute request. She was patient and understanding with my energetic Rain, even when Rain had two accidents in her home. When I picked Rain up, she was clearly comfortable with Janette, her wagging tail and happy little hop said it all. We will definitely be using Janette again.”

“Amanda was great helping our dog on her first day care visit! We received pictures during the day assuring us our pup was doing just fine! Great set up with lots of room to run around and such kind care!”

“I am absolutely thrilled with the care Christian provided for my dog, Magnolia, during her daycare day. From the very first moment I reached out, Christian exceeded every expectation. He took the time to set up a comprehensive meet-and-greet, offering thoughtful and detailed information that instantly put me at ease and showed me just how dedicated he was to providing the best experience for my girl. Magnolia, being a rescue, is usually very shy and anxious around new people, but Christian’s warm, compassionate nature made her feel completely safe and comfortable. I was utterly amazed by how quickly they bonded. She walked right up to him, let him pet her, and even allowed him to pick her up multiple times — something I never imagined would happen so quickly with a dog as cautious as Magnolia. She’s such a sweet little ham once she’s comfortable, and it was truly magical to see how quickly they connected. From the moment I dropped her off to the second I picked her up, the entire experience was absolutely flawless. For the first time, I felt completely at ease leaving my precious girl with someone, knowing she was in the most loving, capable hands. When I went to pick her up, she was so happy and kept trying to go back to Christian. It was beyond heartwarming to see just how much she loved her time with him. The daily pictures and videos Christian sent throughout the day were such a thoughtful and reassuring touch. They not only gave me peace of mind, but also clearly showed the genuine care and affection he had for Magnolia. I can wholeheartedly say that I would recommend Christian to any dog owner without hesitation. I trust him completely with my sweet girl, and I know you will too. Thank you, Christian, for providing outstanding care for Magnolia. Your genuine kindness, unwavering professionalism, and exceptional dedication to her well-being have truly made all the difference. I’m forever grateful for the love and attention you gave to my baby!”

“Sarah was able to take my dogs on short notice and she was very communicative and also just a very nice person. I would definitely use her services again in the future and recommend her to anyone who needs a safe and reliable dog sitter!”

“Belle had such an amazing time! Chonlada and her fam were absolutely amazing. We are from out of state and were a little nervous to leave Belle, but Chonlada made it such a great experience and took wonderful care of our pup. She even sent Belle home with a parting gift and her daughters drew a beautiful pic of Belle! I would certainly trust Chonlada with any dog!”

As of September 2026, there are 1,098 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Geryville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Geryville commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
