About: My name is Amber, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Veterinary Medicine. I will be attending Veterinary Medical school in the fall, and crowned a Doctor in 2030. My passion for animal care and medicine began at a young age as an intern in a veterinary clinic as a sophmore in high school. From that point forward, my career goals and purpose were solidified. I currently work in a veterinary hospital from 8am-5pm Tuesday-Friday, and a half day on Saturday. If located in town and necessary, I can always do a check-in on my lunch break. Otherwise, before and after my shift would be the typical visitation routine. When caring for your pets, they will be treated as my own. If servicing in your home, I will treat the area with respect and stick to their normal routine. If they are coming to my house, I live in a two story house with a sizeable yard, but it does lack a fence. I am more than happy to accommodate whatever their needs may be!

“This was the second time Ivy watched our dog Stanley for us while we were out of town. She once again did an awesome job. She gave him his meds, walked him when weather permitted and gave him lots of cuddles. She sent daily pictures so that we knew all was well. She also kept a close eye on our house and alerted us to a bird mite infestation by our front door that may have gone unnoticed for quite a while as we don’t regularly use that door. If you choose Ivy to care for your fur babies, you can relax knowing she will give them quality care and attention.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. As an adult, I’ve always had cats and other critters. My animals tend to live very long, loving lives. I have summers off, so I have quite a bit of availability part of the year. I’m an early riser, so can do mornings easily. Most evenings I’m available for care, walks or feedings. We live on a highway, so our animals have always been inside. The cats usually have free rein of the house and our enclosed deck is sometimes a place they like to be.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was young. The newest member of our family, Reeses, makes me smile every day and we're learning from each other so much, she just warms my heart. When I was a senior in H.S. I worked with a professional trainer, training German Shepherds. It was during this time I learned that I've got a great commanding voice that dogs want to listen to. In college I was the president of the animal rights club, and worked with animal shelters in the area. Next year I plan on taking some official training classes and starting my own dog training / sitting business. Until then I'd love to make some new furry friends and their people too. I work from home, so I'm able to take frequent breaks and spend time with our four legged friends. I start the morning off with a walk, spend lunch working on some training or going for a ride, and I'm home and ready to play right at five as soon as I turn my computer off. I'm free to take potty breaks throughout the day as needed as well. Dogs love a good routine, and I'm here to help make that happen. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away so you can come home to a stress free pup, and for you to feel comfortable knowing your loved one is being looked after by someone that cares and is there with them.

About: I own two high-energy dogs, Josie and Stella, both raised from puppies, so I know how stressful puppy-parenting can be. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals is where I developed my love for caring for them, and it’s where I learned responsibility. We often head to the farm for extra playtime and walks, so your pup will have plenty of fun, exercise, and love—no energy left behind! I’m currently in school for respiratory therapy, so I’ve cut back on my hours. I work every other weekend at a memory care/assisted living facility. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m in class from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Other than that, I’m pretty available around my work and school schedule, and I can’t wait to care for and love your animals! I have two friendly, high-energy dogs who love to play! While we don’t have a fenced yard, we’re lucky to have country property with plenty of space to walk around the fields.

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. I also have experience raising a puppy from very young, so I understand reactiveity in dogs and have learned different ways to calm them down or pay special attention to them during moments of high reactivity ( like during walks) I am currently work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during my day that allows me to do side quests such as rover I have a fenced in yard and 1 dog who loves playing with other dogs! so your fur baby would have a best friend to play with during the day. I can also easily crate my or your dog

About: I’ve constantly been surrounded by all kinds of animals throughout my life. I especially love cats as I have 2 of my own but will spread the love to even reptiles! My past experience includes years of dog sitting for a family friend, for stays up to 2 weeks long. The dogs were also older so I had to accommodate their needs as well. I walked, fed, pet, and played with them all while maintaining as similar of a schedule that I could for their comfort. I am unemployed until the summer, when I will be working full-time, so I’m constantly home! My cats are fed around the clock three different times so I’m here for that. I just go to classes for a few hours in the middle of the day and come right home. I am a student who lives in a 2 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend so we have a spare room to cater towards your fur baby in our space. For client’s homes, I always follow instructions given to provide the utmost comfort and familiarity for your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages! I’m currently working part-time as a cashier. So I would be available most nights and Saturdays. I am always looking forwarded to hanging out with furry friends. I respect all clients homes and you won’t even tell I was there. I care for our furry friend and clean up after them and myself!

About: I have cared for (and been cared for myself by) animals of every shape, size, personality, and level of care. I’m currently working retail on Main Street in Galena. Days off are Monday-Wednesday, and I will be available for check-ins or overnight stays any other day as well with notice (generally work 6-8 hr shifts) I am a respectful guest in your animal’s home, and will make sure to follow instructions and ask for clarification about their personal rituals and routines. I’m picky about my boys and their care when leaving them with a “stranger”- so you don’t have to feel crazy if you need constant check-ins (I GET IT, and I also take excellent photos 😊). I will likely ask many questions to ensure everyone’s as comfortable as possible. I know my boys turn into nervous wrecks when they sense I’m packing- and so do I!

About: I have been surrounded by cats and dogs my whole life! My family has had Blue Heelers and Beagles, and cats. I have my degree in Agriculture Education, giving me a nice rounded education on the topics of animals. I take pride in allowing your pets to become comfortable with me being in their space (: I have experience with a vast amount of dog breeds, ages, temperaments and training levels. For cats, I understand the importance of routine and comfortability in their lives. I am generally free in the mornings before 8am, and again in the afternoon after 4:30pm. I am a full time teacher, but enjoy helping others with their animals when I am free and on the weekends! I do work from home in Kieler WI, making my schedule very flexible throughout the week days for visits between work hours! When I come into a clients home I always make sure to keep the animals comfortable with me being there by taking the time to get to know their personality and mood! I am a firm believer on reading an animals body language to understand how they are feeling. I also like to make sure I leave your space just as clean as it was when I got there.

About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.
