I am a new DVM graduate, and am happy to take care of your pets, no matter how old or young, especially those with special needs! I am certified in dog/cat CPR, and am comfortable providing any care needed. *Please note*: My providing pet sitting/dog walking/pet care services does NOT constitute a VCPR, and I cannot provide medical advice unless a VCPR is explicitly established in accordance with NY State Law* I prefer to stay in the client's home especially for dogs as this is generally much more comfortable for the dog to stay in their own environment. For overnight stays, I like to meet the dogs beforehand with owners present. This way they are assured it is okay to have me in their space for staying with them.

About: Hello, My name is Monique. I currently have 2 dogs of my own that, I only just realized have officially entered seniorhood. I currently work at a local vet clinic here in Ithaca so I am also up to date and knowledgable about different breeds,foods, treats, and everything cat and dog! Ive been pet sitting and walking since the age of 13 Which has helped me learn all about caring for animals at all ages. From 4 weeks up till seniority, I can do it all and love every minute of it. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid, having many pets growing up. I have volunteered in the animal care center at Greenburgh nature center where I got to care for a variety of reptiles and mammals. I have dog sat many family friends dogs, and also walked dogs for families I've babysat. Most recently, I worked at the Hudson Valley Humane Society Shelter where I mostly worked with farm animals and dogs, and is where I met and adopted my sweet boy named Suka. I currently am working in Ithaca 6:30-3:00pm and have the afternoons available I would be able to work in the Ithaca area or surrounding all the way to Truxton (where I currently live). Come this September I will have Wednesdays and Weekends completely available. I live on 5 acres, with plenty of room to play. I will always keep your pet on a leash or make sure there surrounding area is gated in so no one escapes. Having a husky, I am well versed on being prepared for escape artists.

I Currently driver Uber and run an online business so I am all around pretty flexible since I have no set work schedule for either! I have a large house with a very open backyard perfect for animals to run around and get their energy out. The yard is not fenced in, but I have a close line with a leash and hook that allows dogs to move freely throughout the yard.
