About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and love getting to know each pet’s individual personality. I grew up with a Lhasa Apso for 14 years and became her primary caretaker during her senior years, giving me firsthand experience caring for an older pup and adapting to her changing needs. I’ve also fostered both dogs and cats, including a Schnauzer/Poodle mix and a young cat with medical needs. I’m happy to give an outgoing pet plenty of attention and affection, but I’m equally comfortable giving a shy or cautious pet the space and patience they need to feel safe around me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, as well as cats, puppies, and senior pets. Above all, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine as much as possible, including their normal feeding, potty, walking, playtime, and medication schedules. I want pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own space, so I follow each owner’s instructions and their pet’s established routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to body language, respect boundaries, and never force interaction with a pet who needs some space or time to warm up. I’ll keep their environment clean and tidy, make sure they have fresh food and water as instructed, and provide walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or quiet company based on what they enjoy. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed.

Koda is a Cane Corso puppy, which has helped me learn the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and proper exercise. I make sure my pups receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and daily care while keeping their safety and comfort a priority.
