“Kaylee was great! She is very communicative and respectful! My one fur baby was obsessed with her! My other one warms up slowly so she hid most of the time, but Kaylee was patient and let her have her space which I appreciated!!”

“Trial run for Amanda to get comfortable with the meds routine for one our cats. She did great! Even remembered the treats he gets afterwards. Looking forward to her taking care of the fur babies during our upcoming trip.”

About: Hey pet parents! I’m Kameron—a lifelong animal enthusiast with a soft spot for every creature, big or small. 🐶🐾 I grew up in a house full of animals, and since then, I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats and guinea pigs (I’ve had five!) to bunnies and even a leopard gecko! I’m currently an intern and volunteer at an animal shelter where I work with the community to promote adoption, be a voice for the voiceless, and champion responsible pet ownership. I’ve also fostered pets and provided personal pet sitting, and I'm the proud pet parent of a very spoiled guinea pig. Animals aren’t just a passion—they’re my purpose. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at home while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a long walk, couch cuddles, or a little TLC, I’m here for it all! Let’s make tails wag and whiskers twitch—I can’t wait to meet your pet! I have been a pet sitter and caretaker in my personal life on and off for over 5 years- whether that be family, friends or friends of friends. I started this journey pet sitting on the side, but have made the decision to leap into it more full time! I am currently super flexible on my pet sitting, as I am in between jobs & new to the Charlotte area. I would love to provide any care I can within my availability! I live in a large apartment complex with plenty of area to walk. There is a small dog run on the complex property & walking trails/parks just minutes away. I have a two bedroom apartment, allowing your pet ample space! For more specific questions, please contact me directly- I am more than willing to adjust my lifestyle for what your pet needs! In the past, I have kept other pets separate from my guinea pig- as not all pets get along & to maintain personal space for both animals. I have experience with animals that need a crate, as well as ones that do not! I have cared for pets with a long criteria list, and pets that are just go with the flow. Both are welcome! As a pet parent myself, I would want my animal being cared for to my preferences & want to make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away. I do have a guinea pig! Rover does not have a section to add in My Pets section (Dogs & Cats were the only choices). But he will be kept separately!

“Antonia is the best! She sent pics to us everyday. And we are looking forward to using her again very soon.”

“Awesome job. Thank you.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for as long as I can remember! My family has always loved pets and my sister was also a pet sitter so I’m well versed. I’ve also owned birds and been experienced with ferrets so I know how to take care of many different types of pets. This is my only job so you can trust that your pets will have my full, undivided attention! I am free just about everyday at all times (except for when my own cat needs me) I provide walks, check ins, I will refill food, water, litter, and other services needed of me. I unfortunately cannot spend the night (unless absolutely necessary) but I’m willing to do everything else and work with every animal!

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life! Before I moved to SC 3 years ago, I spent a few years working for a non-profit animal shelter in Louisiana. My job included cleaning kennels, feeding/watering, medicine administration, socialization, preparation for adoption/freedom rides, and of course lots and lots of pets and cuddles. I currently have 2 large rescue dogs (Cooper-5, Moo-3) and 1 rescue cat (Josephine-1) with my fiancé (Matthew-29). We love to take the animals on daily walks and hikes on long weekends! My purpose in life is to make sure my pets live a better life than me. And they definitely do! I have a very flexible full time job that allows me to be home most of the time. I make sure my dogs get daily walks and my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily! And enrichment activities on days where the weather doesn’t cooperate. My pets are my life. They are always up to date on their vaccinations, kennel trained, and always on a leash when not inside our home/fence. They also get clipped in when we go on truck rides. Moo has had to undergo TPLO surgery on one of her legs so I have plenty of patience for a 8 week recovery for a hyper active dog. Including administering her medication, doing her daily stretches and icing, as well as making sure she got outside time by pushing her in a cart on walks.

“It's too bad 5 stars is the highest rating because Barbara exceeded our expectations. One of the three pups she watched for us normally takes a very long time to warm up to new people. She sent us pictures from the first visit, as well as every visit, and it was obvious right away that she had totally won that one and the two others over. From that moment on, we had no concerns about their care. I would 100% recommend her to care of anyone's furbabies and would certainly choose her for any future times.”

About: I've loved animals my whole life. When I was 15 I finally got my own dog, Piper (an 8wk old Catahoula mix). That following Summer I began to care for three other dogs for a few days a week at their home, letting them out and playing with them. Likewise, the summer before college I worked at a boarding kennel/day care. I enjoyed playing with and caring for nearly 20 different dogs every day! In August of last year, my husband and I got our very own dog! Her name is Fern, and she is another Catahoula! *NOTE* I work 7-6 M-F Charlotte at a doctor’s office. Thus, I am unfortunately unable for drop-in services during the day. If your dog requires round the clock care, I unfortunately cannot be your person. I am willing to negotiate rates if you need to hire a midday dog-walker while I take care of nights. I believe in complete transparency and wouldn’t want to promise something I couldn’t do. My husband helps me out from time to time during the day on the weekends if I get stuck in clinic! He will sometimes stay in my place, and always comes to the first meet and greet. He’s also a verified animal lover (and the one in all the pics!) At my apartment complex, we have a fenced in dog park that I can allow our dogs to play in. Likewise, I have the space to crate your dog if needed. I believe in positive reinforcement training, and will be sure to give your pet lots of (approved) treats and love.

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 10 month, 3yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being caring to my two boys. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule! I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! I also will take them on walks as needed to get the nature outdoors!

“Kameron is great with all pets. Compassionate, responsible and can win over even the shyest of animals. She has taken care of my dogs when I’ve been out of town for years. Isabella G.
“She took care of my fish for a week when I had to go on a vacation and she was by far the best fish sitter I could have ever asked for. She bought him new food when he started to run out, researched the best ways to take care of a betta, and did everything I asked her to do. When I asked her to do it, it was the day of and she was still willing to watch him. I even had to have her watch him for an extra day and she was kind and understanding about it. Next time I need my pets watched I will be asking Isabella to. She was in constant communication with me about the state of my fish, took care of him even better than I take care of him, and bought him and treats when he started to run out. I would 100% recommend Isabella when it comes to watching pets.”

Therese H.
“Therese has been by far my best pet sitter in my babies 10 years! Lots of attention given, photos and updates sent, and she truly treats your pets like they're one of her own. I wish we had been able to pick her up and take her with us in our relocation. Anyone who gets the chance to let her take care of your pets are in for a treat with her :)”
