About: I love being with dogs when I’m hanging out at home or in the woods and that's why I'm on Rover--I just love having dogs in my life! I'm a very active person and love being outside. I have a home with two roommates who also love dogs. We have a large un-fenced yard with a small play pen in the yard appropriate for small dogs. We live in a nice, dog-friendly neighborhood close to a park, a creek for those water lovers, and hiking trails (and, coming soon, a WagBar!). I’ve had a dog at every point in my life and have been recently raising a puppy with my parents but I have no other dogs in the home at the time. I have several dog beds around the house, toys, leashes, etc. as well as a large kennel. I'm also willing to offer extra services like bathing and brushing. I’m happy to do house visits for cats too, but my housemate is allergic so, unfortunately, I can’t do any cat sitting. I am happy to take the dogs on as long or short of walks as desired, or even on hikes and runs! Lastly, I am currently working full time from home and am excited to spend ALL DAY with your pups! I can't wait to meet and get to know y’all’s pups! :)

About: I have experience with small to giant breed dogs. From kitten to senior cats. Additionally I have experience with administering medication via shot(for cats and dogs), pill, mousse, cream, and I have wound care experience. I have had several years of pet car from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. Additionally I have cared for some varieties of fish and amphibians. Animal care is my top priority. I work full time but I work 5 minutes from home allowing me to visit home every day for lunch. My work schedule is 5 days a week but with being so close to home I am able to visit the house every four hours. Additionally I have weekends off as well. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have 2 friendly dogs and a yard that I can walk your dog on a leash in. My dogs are very well trained and stay in the yard without a leash. Additionally my dogs come in the house on command, no dog will ever be unattended when under my care. My dogs get along with cats and ferrets as well. We like to joke that our orange cat trained both of our dogs.

“I last minute booked and was able to leave within the hour of the request. I left the house a mess and came back to the house being slick and span. I absolutely adore Heaven! She is the only sitter we use!”

About: Growing up in Alaska we always had dogs in our home. It taught us responsibility, care and respect for animals at an early age. I have 30+ years of experience caring for cats and dogs, as both our own pets and others. In our household we have an eleven year old son and a 4 1/2 year old small, mixed breed, super friendly, dog. We will provide a safe, nurturing, playful environment for your furry friend and will treat them as if they are part of our family! We have a fully fenced back yard for them to romp and play. I am home every day until the first week of August so you can count on round the clock care for your pets. I recently reactivated my Rover account and am looking forward to hosting our first clients in our new home! I am currently not working for the summer so am available in my home full time. Once school begins, mid August, I will be available in the afternoons and weekends with limited availability Monday-Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and a furry friend who loves to play. If quiet space is needed, we have doggy door access from outside to the garage.

“Tania did a wonderful job taking care of my animals. She was always on time for check ins, and my animals were all happy and healthy when I returned from my trip. I would absolutely recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and senior care for dogs. I am happiest when I am taking care of animals in whatever way they need love and care. I currently work part time so have plenty of time Wednesday through Sunday to care for your pets. I prefer to check on them in their own homes frequently each day giving them plenty of time to run around and play or have some love and companionship. When I check on your pets in their homes I will be sure they have everything they need to be comfortable and safe while I’m away. I will also spend an hour with them to make sure they have plenty of time to do their business outside and get their wiggles out if they need it.

About: I've owned all types of animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, and horses) throughout my entire life! Ive been responsible for caring for 6 horses (1 of my own and 5 boarders) without any additional help and this also included caring for their 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, and a goat! I'm mostly available during the weekends as my kiddos keep me pretty busy during the school week! My weekends are typically completely open and I'd love to help you with your fur babies! Our dog and cat are considered to be part of our family and are treated as such! Your animal(s) while in my care will be treated the same way!

About: I've been a lifelong dog owner, with 1-2 dogs always in my family from small to large and from puppy to end of life. I have experience walking, feeding, running, taking to dog parks, and caring for special needs such as administering medicine. From my time raising two puppies, I can manage puppies-in-training and teach commands. I also have experience watching dogs who can be aggressive around other dogs or territorial. When dog-sitting for multiple days, I always take the dog to run at the park or dog park and on neighborhood walks. I currently live on the border of Palmer and Wasilla in Alaska. I am not able to board due to my three cats but am available for housesitting and drop-in visits. I work in the summer as a farmer in the Mat-ash and during the school year as a university professor in Anchorage. During the summer I work long shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays, though I can find time for drop-ins in the morning, afternoon, and evening as long as you are close to the farm. The school year begins in late August. I will post my class schedule when it is available. I will have more availability for sitting in Anchorage during the school week, since I am already commuting to the city to teach. As a housesitter I make sure dogs are comfortable with me before sitting through meet and greets with their owner present. I follow owner’s advice on what makes the pet most comfortable. I try to keep a consistent routine when sitting and prioritize cuddle couch time to make them feel loved.

Hollie B.
“Hollie has been incredible with my Aussie and my cat. Animals naturally gravitate towards her, and she is incredibly loving and caring. She has treated my boys with utmost respect!”

Pamela H.
“My daughter Pamela has grown up in our family with 4 dogs of different breeds and sizes along the way. She was able to help care for the dogs as puppies all the way through their senior days. She cared for these dogs by assisting with exercising them by throwing a ball, walking them, and taking them on hikes. She helped train the puppies. She gave the dogs prescribed medicine when needed, groomed them, fed them, and most importantly played and loved them while keeping them safe. Our present dog is Cassidy who we got at 2 months old and is now 5 years of age. When Pam comes home to visit, Cassie is always so excited to have her home. Pam plays with her and gives her the affection and attention she needs. Pam has taken Cassidy numerous times for several weeks at a time to her home In Washington DC to care for her. She takes her on daily walks, runs her safely at a gated dog park, and also takes her on hikes. Cassie waits for Pam to exercise her and play with her daily. Pam has watched numerous friends and coworkers' dogs at her home and also at their home when the people were away. The dogs received good care by Pam and love. These experiences with dogs will make Pam a good dog watcher for anyone with this need. Pam has a car and is able to watch your dog at your residency or at her home for as long as needed. Pam has the experience and knowledge to care for your dog safely while you are away or have the need for care for your dog.”
