About: Over my years I've had different breeds of dogs, and other animals in many different enviroments. Animals approach me out of nowhere. Training animals comes easy to me, I'm patient, thural, and dedicated. Falconry dogs, working class dogs, and even the little ones. Animals are my life, they come first and they love me. Give the dog time to come to me and it'll never leave my side. Follow the owners instructions. Make sure the dog always has water, fed on time, potty breaks, and time outside. Learn the dog and learn how to take care of it.

About: I love all animals but I am especially great with special needs and elderly ones. I have 2 dachshunds, and they are my life. I will treat yours as though they are my own. I am taking time off from the daily grind and therefore have lots of time to spend with your beloved fur babies and mine. We will spend time outside or cuddling, having deep chats figuring out the solutions to the universal problems etc. My dogs are allowed anywhere I am allowed that includes car bed couch and any other spot they feel drawn to. I make my dogs food but totally respect all dog food choices you may make.

Our dog really enjoyed the walks with her, she even did a lot of running which he really enjoyed. If she was not moving out of town, we would continue to go with her. About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

I can expand my weekend availability for house sitting if given sufficient notice (at least a week) for areas outside of Reno/Carson/Tahoe. House sitting is like a mini vacation for me since I have grown adult children that I ADORE but…mama needs alone time, with animals 🐶🐱 I’m available to do drop ins and over night on the weekends in your home. I can take your furry loved ones for walks in the neighborhood or to the dog park and around the river if that’s okay. I do have the perfect size pet friendly backyard and lots of toys for little field trips for play dates with my pups.

“I have used Nikita as a dog sitter for my 100 pound yellow lab quite some time. She is efficient and so great with him. He loves seeing her and the best thing about her is that she is active and our lab loves that. She loves being outside and so does our 12 year old lab, but she also knows his limits as far as how much is too much. She is so incredibly respectful when she stays over in our home which is a huge relief! We don’t use anyone else when we go on vacations or go out of town for a weekend.
