About: I have the freedom to go anywhere needed with the ability to drive. I can also take care of the pets special needs such as giving medicine. I enjoy walking and playing. My little dog has a big dog attitude, so when she gets aggressive I know how to handle her, and keep a safe distance not letting anyone get hurt. I am a full time student at BGSU, and living on campus. I can do check ins during the weekdays, and I am able to stay overnight if needed at anytime. On the weekends I should be available at anytime and stay for however long is needed. I have a fenced in backyard, and a small dog that goes through the doggy door. I am always available to open the door to let your pet out at anytime. I walk my dog around the neighborhood 3 or more times around the week at least.

“Emma answered to our last minute in house sitting request, this was our first time using Rover and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Emma was very kind, listened to all our detailed instructions, and made sure our pups were well taken care of. She made sure they went on their walks and got their potty breaks in. Our pups, Oso and Leily, both loved her and quickly warmed up to her. She also sent us pictures of them while we were away to make sure we knew they were doing great. We couldn’t have asked for a better in house sitter. We will definitely be using Emma from now on whenever we need a sitter again!”

About: My family has always owned a dog. Ever since I was young, my family and friends have relied on me to care for their animals, whether it be a walk, or an overnight sit. I’m a current Ball State Social Work grad student and love paying visits to the local Animal Shelter in my free time! I am a part time grad student at Ball State University, and also work part time at a daycare. I still have a lot of free time I’d like to fill throughout the week doing something I love, like taking care of animals. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for other peoples babies. Safety for myself and the pet is my number one priority. I do have a fenced in big back yard, and I also live right next to campus!

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 5 when I got my first dog, and I've been caring for animals ever since! I've cared for many different species, such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, cows, fish, and a couple of reptiles! I'm always looking for new animal friends and would love to meet yours! I'm currently a full time college student, and have two classes a day. I will be available for pet care at all hours other than 10-11am, and 12-1pm during my classes. I have a nice big hallway for your pet if a kennel is needed, and I have great access to a nice, safe walking path, plus a big yard for pets to play. I am very adaptable and can make anything work!

About: I have adopted several dogs from shelters over the years; all being larger breeds like German shepherds / shepherd mix as well as being both elderly and special needs dogs. This means I have experience in giving dogs medication, and giving them extra attention for any needs they may need. While they have been elderly that didn’t impair them for going out on long walks, or being large strong dogs; making me confident in my ability to safely walk almost any dog outdoors. While I've done a lot of stuff with older dogs that doesn't stop me from being able to keep up with a young energetic pup either! I have also helped out several friends with pet sitting their dogs many times. This has also given me experience in dealing with nervous / anxious dogs and their needs. I work a job that allows me to work from my (or your) home on most days and have no other set obligations. I do not have a job that comes with surprise emergencies, so once I agree to a time, I will be able to make it. You know how to take care of your pet, it's my job to imitate that while you are gone so they can feel safe or less anxious while you are away. With my experience with shelter adoptions, I understand that some pets may need special care and feel up to most such challenges. Honesty is my policy. While I don’t expect it, if there is something I am uncomfortable with, a task or sadly your pet and I aren’t compatible, I'd clearly say so at our first meeting allowing you the time to search for other options.

About: I’ve recently started to pet sit/house sit for my friends and their families for the past year. That pool of friends/family has continued to grow because of my attention to detail, eagerness, and flexibility to what you and your pet need! :) I am a teacher, so while I am gone most of the day, my early morning and entire evening can be dedicated to making sure your pet is getting what they need! When I am pet sitting, I make sure to place that commitment over other things to make sure your pet’s needs are being met! I am willing/able to maintain any routine you currently have with your pet! I am also known to clean and remake the bed before I leave, as well as throw in other additional cleaning. Gotta leave spaces better than you found them! ;)

About: Since I could walk, I’ve had animals in my life. I’ve helped care for animals of all kinds ranging from fish, cats and dogs to chickens and horses! As far as my cats go, I feed them canned food and have dry food out regularly. They have yearly vet visits and I keep them up-to-date on boosters. My cats are enriched with cuddles, playtime and scratchers in multiple places throughout my place. They love to be brushed often as well. My dog, Butterball, has his nails filed as often as needed and he loves cuddles under the blanket while watching tv. He goes outside on a lead multiple times a day. My fish tank is cleaned and maintained biweekly. I also always have spring water on hand to keep water levels appropriate.

For house sitting, I stay overnight and follow the pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. I provide companionship, keep the home clean, and send regular updates with photos to keep the owner informed and reassured. For drop-in visits, I stop by three times a day for about 20 minutes each visit. During each drop in I handle feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and basic care, while making sure to send detailed updates and pictures after every visit.

“Des was awesome! Copper the Dog and Princess Leia loved her! She was extremely friendly and kept the lines of communication open. During the stay she provided pictures and videos of the dogs. She stayed at my home and left it clean when she left. There were a couple of changes and challenges (not her fault at all) during the stay, but she rolled with the punches and was very flexible. Definitely utilize her professional services. She even left a friendly note after she left. 😃”

I’m sad that my dogs are not here at school with me so in honor of them, I would love to help you out by taking care of your pet. I am at my apartment a lot. I only leave for classes, I’m a student at Ball state. I can take care of pets throughout the day. I have a very flexible schedule. About: I've taken care of other people's pets off and on since I was around 10. I was a Canine Companion at the Indianapolis Humane Society for about two years before I moved to Muncie. At the Humane Society I walked dogs, cleaned their cages, groomed them, assisted in training, and most importantly I loved them. With my parents' dogs I have administered medication and trained a puppy. I'm currently a Ball State student but since classes are now all online I have way more freetime. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I am free all day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am free after my online lecture at 9:30 am. On the weekends I am completely free since my church is currently cancelled. I am currently staying with my sister so since it is not my home, I offer no in home services. My sister's landlord does have a dog and he is very friendly. We frequently go the dog park with him. He is a neutered King Charles Spaniel.

About: I have pet sit for many years. I love meeting new animals. I enjoy pet sitting because as a social worker I am able to come home to an animal and sent time with them. Animals are the way I cope. I have plenty of time to play with animals in the evenings and weekends. My schedule is very open for this and I am excited to have this opportunity I will ensure to keep everything the way I found it or even better. I know animals do best in their own environment so I have no problem being in other peoples homes. I show respect.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. Along with dogs I’ve been around multiple farm animals. I’d love to care for your furry friends just as much as mine!! I work part time while attending school online. My schedule is very open. I would be able to go every morning and evening. I can offer multiple different services and schedules. I have the ability to let dogs roam in the rural area I live in. I have crates available if need. I also have a 6 year old dog of my own. He gets along really well with other dogs but I would be able to keep the dogs separate if needed.
