About: I have had dogs all my life & have taken care of friends & family’s pets. I tend to adopt “problem” dogs that other people can’t handle. I love a challenge & gaining the trust of the dog. I used to frequent the Dominican Republic to feed & give flea baths to the neglected street dogs out there. I’m currently working from home & was a bartender for the last 20 yrs but now looking for a new career with animals because they are my true passion. I just moved to the Gardner, Illinois for a bigger yard & a 6ft privacy fence to expand my dog sitting business. I also have a small pool for the dogs. I have lots of gates up throughout the house & different rooms I can put dogs in if any need to separated. I also have large crates I can use.

About: Hi there my name is Francesca! I have been actively involved in the dog world my whole life and started professionally when I was 16 years old! My mother has been owning and training dogs for 40+ years. I am blessed to have shared the same passion with her & follow in her footsteps. Growing up, I was around breeds as small as Frenchies, to as big as Saint Bernards! Dogs have been a major part of our lives for as long as I can remember. It’s more than a hobby, it’s a lifestyle! I currently work from home as a dog trainer & dog photographer. I competitively train my personal 3 German Shepherds in a high precision obedience sport. My dogs also star on the NBC TV Show Chicago PD! We have been signed on as K9 and Handlers since season 2! Working from home gives me time to show love, exercise, and care for your pets! I am very experienced with all sizes, numerous breeds, ages, energy and drive levels. We can do walks, hikes, playtime with safe dogs and even swimming on those hot days! I live in a bi-level home in Mazon! We have 5 acres to run & play! We have a fenced in deck attached to a pea gravel potty area! Our home is designed to be dog friendly. We have numerous dog beds that are routinely washed & dried! Feel free to bring your pets favorite toys or allow them to pick from our box of miscellaneous novelties! We supply fresh water in clean bowls that are washed every night. We strive to provide your pet with a safe, comfortable, fun and clean environment! If your pet enjoys other dogs we are happy to allow them to play and hang out! If not, we are more than willing to adjust and give your dog their own freedom where they are stress free! I am trustworthy, flexible & incredibly reliable. Any and all instructions given to me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your best friend happy!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since childhood. First it was cats, then dogs, and I’m now a proud owner of a Quaker parrot. I’m willing to walk or pet sit dogs, help pet sit cats at their own home, and the same with exotic birds. Someone is always home with the pet and we also help you dog get socialized with our parrot. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. I work full time in the afternoon shift but my boyfriend works mornings so there is always someone home. He loves animals, too! I do my best to work around my schedule. Our bird Kerry only goes in his cage when we are both out of the house and at bedtime. Otherwise, we let him out. Kerry is used to dogs. He likes to talk to dogs.

About: I used to take care of 1 Dalmatian 4 miniature dachshunds 1 pitbull mastiff which was my uncle's I would like to help out anyway I can No jobs up right now I'm free to take the dogs for walk bathe them how sit anything you need me to do for them I will give them water food whatever there schedule is to eat take him out every hour to walk give him a treat if it's needs to be give them a shower on the days I need to get showered and pick up and clean the bowls and dishes

About: I have a corgi/golden retriever. Kashi loves other dogs and playing outside. I have had Kashi since he was a puppy. We would go on walks together and have playtime. Love lounging around as well. I am a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to play/pay attention to you’re animal, they won’t be alone. We have a backyard where I take my dog outside on the leash. My cat also goes on a leash outside. We have play time and also have a splash pad/hose for the pup!

About: I was raised on a farm and absolutely love animals (see my pictures)! As a nurse, I’m passionate about life and caring for others. My passion for raising and taking care of animals started young and grew immensely with age… hence why we've connected here! I’m gentle, punctual, and truly enjoy dog sitting. I’m skilled in bathing, walking, feeding, administering medications and caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats. As an avid people and animal lover, you can count on me to safely care for your pet. Safety is my number one priority. I always ensure that collars and leashes fit appropriately, fences and gates are closed, crates are secure and that your pup/cat is out of the way of any hazards. I can easily identify signs of heatstroke and I always ensure that your pups paws don’t touch hot pavement in the summer months. Water is also a must after walks! I am transparent and believe that it is best to follow the owners requests so I will work with you to develop a routine that fits the needs of your family and your pet. I also ask that if you are leaving a spare key, it has “do not duplicate” engraved in it. Lastly, I will always ask permission.

“Karen and Tom were great with my girl Xo. Their big yard is perfect for Xo and her excess energy! They kept me updated and sent photos and videos of Xo. I was very pleased with Xo’s overall stay. Xo normally doesn’t eat when staying in a new environment. However, Karen was able to get Xo to eat comfortably. Xo enjoyed her stay, she came back an happy girl. I feel very comfortable leaving Xo with Karen and Tom and would definitely recommend them!”

About: Hi! I’m Nicole, and I work remotely as a graphic designer while pet-sitting! I’d love to hang out with your baby or take them on walks or just keep them company! The details: I’m currently open for a recurring lunch time walk/drop-in spot! I do have meetings throughout the day and work full-time, so it’s u likely I can accommodate any other weekday times. Weeknights and weekends are open though! I am open to sitting for all types of animals! I love to be outdoors, so walking and playing with your pet will be a treat for both me and them. I’m also cool with a little snuggle bug watching tv on the couch! I’ve walked and spent time with dogs of all shapes and sizes through volunteer work at a shelter in SK. You can count on me to love your pet as my own while I’m with them. I have no problem giving medication or any other special needs your dog might have. - I require meet & greets. - All pets must be up to date on vaccines. - All pets must be in generally good health. - I am not able to offer constant care during daytime hours on weekdays. (Additional costs will be applied for constant care). - Please let me know all about their personality, quirks, and habits! House Sitting notes: Every sitter uses this service a bit differently. For my services, house sitting = staying overnight in your home and caring for the pet between 5pm - 8am and 1 drop in around noon. Any additional needs require additional drop-in costs because I am not able to stay in your home the entire day (I must care for my own pet and another client daily). Don’t hesitate to ask questions if you have any! I'd love to hang out with your pet and work out a schedule! I do work full-time but have some flexibility in my hours. I currently have an opening for lunchtime walks or drop-ins, and I’m always open to doggy daycare. Weeknights and weekends are open! My home has a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play, our house is small but we live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of good places to walk and sniff!
